New Star Trek is out....
As far as I can remember Nemesis was the first movie ever I walked out on, because it just sucked waytoo much in relation to what I expected.... I've seen worse but always where I expected worse. So now I'm curious if anyone that has seen it cares to comment in here? I haven't read any reviews yet, and probably won't because last time they completely failed to mention that the movie sucks. :[[

As a Trekkie, I personally find that the movie looks absolutely different to what we're used to.
I haven't seen it, I probably won't see it... and if I do go in my Starfleet uniform... I'll probably ditch the uniform during the moving, before walking out because of sheer anger if my suspicion is correct after the Nemesis scenario. I've been told it's great, however it really seems to be aimed at people who have never seen nor read anything about Star Trek and generally, that's where all of the positive reviews have been coming from. I'm tempted to see whether or not it's crap, but my Father is now watching a trailer for it and as a Trekkie too.... he's kind of shouting about how it does not feel right or overall fitting to be called Star Trek.

I'm tempted to watch it, but if I waste a whole afternoon on going to the movies and it turns out to be as bad as Nemesis then I'd regret it.
On the other hand if I watch it at home and it turns out to be good then I'd regret not going to the movies, since watching it on the nb wouldn't be the same ![]() So in any case I'm f'd if I don't know exactly what's it gonna be like before watching. lol

I don't know, why not see if you can find any tidbits of footage online and then decide on what you'll do?
If it feels weird to you or just plain appears to be crappy, then don't go and watch it at the cinema. If it seems alright to you, gives you sort of a pacing or general feeling that the good old Star Treks' did... then go and watch it at the cinema as generally most reviewers and/or critics are going to be biased in some form and honestly it's down to their personal preference, so really only you could decide on the matter of it being worth watching or not.
