Aka Borat, Ali G and Bruno.

Borat hit cinemas and created a furore with people suing the film for misrepresentation, which didnt dectract from the genius of the film and the comedy. News today that a sequel of Borat is coming, plus a film based on Bruno is coming to cinemas as well:

Sacha Baron Cohen will be back with more Borat before you know it. That’s right, he’s planning Borat 2.

The story first broke in November when Borat-mania was at its highest temperature. But it’s only now that Cohen signed on the dotted line. Reuters reports that Rupert Murdoch announced the signing on Thursday saying, “He's signed up to do a sequel for us.”

So it’s official. Get ready for more genius discomfort from Borat. Prepare to enjoy more of his fat friend’s anus. He’ll be back.

Meanwhile, Cohen still has that other movie in production. The film based on his other character, the gay fashionista Bruno. Last we heard Bruno would be made first, so it may be more than a year or two before Borat makes a triumphant return to America. Will it work twice? Are people really that gullible? Probably. You and I may be wise to Borat, but are your parents? Probably not. Cohen still has plenty of clueless people to pick on.

I'm only familiar with the very basics of Cohen's act, but he's obviously a genius. All the people complaining that his act is derogatory to Kazakhstanis are missing the main focal point of the satire, which is actually American ignorance of foreign cultures. It's plainly obvious that a large portion of the country thinks that everyone from the former Soviet Union is a backwoods hick, because that's the only way he could possibly pull off his act.

So yeah, great stuff. I need to see more Ali G Show material when I find the time, and watch the film at some point as well.

His character Ali G blows cock, imho. Borat on the other hand is great, and don't know about Bruno. Im pretty sure the second Borat movie is going to be pretty killer aswell though

I've always thought he was really funny, but I don't know about him being a genius and whatnot. going around and filming stupid people being stupid isn't really all that genius. but whatever.

The fact that people reacted so badly to Borat was expected, but still kind of sad. I think the guy's funny, but to call him a genius is just stupid tbh, I mean yeah he's funny, and he is actually genuinely clever, but genius is bit far.
I'm not too happy about the idea of another Borat film, although the first was good I think another film will obviously lead to very similar gags which tbh I acn see myself getting tired of. It's one fo those things that's better left as a one off but you know full well it never is going to stay that way.

If you see the Ali G show with him duping people like Tony Benn, it is actually comedy gold. Portraying an absolute idiot, but making the interviewee even more so.

Eh, I kinda like how the kids who were driving in the RV eventually sued Cohen because they said they were drunk and that what they said about women were taken out of context.

Personally, I just think they were pissed that they can't get laid anymore because every woman in America knows what giant bags of douche they are.
