For me, yes. It's just a matter of opinion. Yours just happens to be wrong.

I can't remember any films I saw that came out in 2006, besides Snakes on a Plane. Tells you something, eh?

I need to go to the movie theatre more often.

I never go to the theatre unless it's a major movie like Pirates of the Carribean, I rent all of my movies.

Top 5 of 2006:
  • V for Vendetta
  • The Departed
  • The Prestige
  • Fearless
  • Snakes on a Plane

Bottom 3 of 2006:
  • Most of the other films released in 2006 were crap, and I can't be bothered to sift through them to list the worst 3.

I hoenstly can't remember if I actually saw any of the films released last year, I'm fairly sure that if I did it can't have been very good.

The Departed is one of the best films Martin Scorsese has ever made, up in the ranks with Taxi Driver. I mean, a cast of Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen and Jack Nicholson, that film is going to be good even if the plot was that they were secret monkeys drinking lager in a forbidden world parrallel to Mars. I mean, the structure of The Departed was just mind-blowing.

Top 5 of 2006
The Departed
The Prestige
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
A Good Year
Silent Hill

Bottom 3 of 2006
Romance & Cigarettes
Stormbreaker
Reeker
