I've watched the anime series and I was very impressed with it. The story gets quite emotional as you continue to watch it, it even made me shed tears while watching the series because you get really atattched to some characters.

So, I highly recommend this series. It has fighting, love, friendship and many other themes.

The anime series is one of the best I've seen, I feel that the manga is far better though. Both are similar in terms of story but after about the events of the 20th episode/chapter the manga goes down a different route and is a more deep, darker and entertaining route than the anime. It helps that the manga has lasted longer than the anime but it is the better of the two.

I saw the first 6 episodes, then the last 12 or so, I've been dying to watch the rest though...

From what I saw I absolutely loved it. Ed and his alchemy is pretty damn cool. and the villains are pretty good too,

but what's even better about it all was the fourth opening song REWRITE!!!! Asian kung-fu generation is officially now my favourite band

I feel that Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the best animes I've seen. There's so much put into the story line, like a delicatly crafted web. Just missing one episode makes me feel like I've missed so much. It's nice to know that as much as it is entertaining there are real facts in it and it has a little of everything. There are parts that make you want to laugh and there are parts that make you want to cry. You can learn things from it (Some which have actually helped me in my classes) but you also gain a powerful message. It's a truely fabulous anime.

LOVE this series. It is so dark and full of such controversial subjects that its hard not to be grasped by it. The characters are probably the most three-dimensional anime characters I have seen in any anime series. They go thru such hardships and horrors they are molded by anger, fear and a brotherly bond that completely transcends love. A definate good choice for a series to watch.

Its among my favourite anime series. I like the contrast of dark and comedy, action and speech. The music is among the best you can find in an anime. It touches all ends of the emotional spectrum. I cant recommend FMA enough.

I've seen all of the FMA anime, and I can safetly say. Its on of the greatest anime I have ever seen. The plot is excellence, the twisted mix of comedy, drama, even horror ( the death of Martha inside Al's suit of armor is brutal). I still haven't read the manga or watched the movie.

Well, I definitaley recommend this anime. I have followed it the whole way starting in 2004 and ending in 2007. It is has a very good storyline, of two brothers searching for something they lost. It is full of great adventures, love, hatred, guilt, and many other great things. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 9. Know the only reason I give it a 9 is, because I don't like some parts of the ending movie (Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquers of Shamballa). I guess you will just have to find out yourself if you like it. I highly recommend that you check it out.

OMG, I LOVE Full Metal Alchemist! It is simply the best anime ever and its definately better than that overated anime Naruto (which is still fairly good). There were times when I shed a few tears and times when I laughed and the last episode was pretty cool.

FMA is one of my favorites, I've read the manga and watched the anime... sadly I haven't gotten to see the ending given in the movie, I have also seen the bonus chibi movies. XD

The anime deviates a lot from the manga, so fans of FMA should watch, read both to get the full picture of Fullmetal Alchemist.

FMA is one of the best animes out there. It dosn't have those "50 episodes long battles" that Bleach does, nor does it have the "50 completely useless episodes" that Naruto does. It is perfectly balanced.
