Naruto: Shippuuden Discussion

Has anyone started watching the new series? I am personally enjoying it right now, the scenes are starting to really heat up and the music in this new series is just epic.

And to those of you who don't know what Naruto: Shippuuden is, it's a new series of Naruto which involved a 2 year time skip and is now showing you the events after the 2 years.

Well so far I've only watched about 5 minutes of the first episode so my opinion isn't fully established...

but from what I have seen of it: As an anime, I like it, but as a part of the naruto series, i dont like it.
Firstly I'm not too crazy about the animation, I was expecting it to be alike to the style of the original naruto, but in comparison it does look pretty different, it was still good, but it feels too weird...

In the way of storyline I think it has potential to be a good anime, but it could be better...It seems like something that would have been expected by many, and not very creative.

But keep in mind that I haven't really seen much, this is just my first impression.

Shippuuden series seems awesome. I watched just about 2 minutes of the first episode and I wondered wtf was going on, and I realized they had grown up a little and I hoped right then and there that Naruto would shed that goofy image, and gat serious. It's crazy because I don't know how to catchup in a fast way...besides manga but by watching it all...

Naruto Shippuuden rocks....i read the manga and watch it online or in the T.V.....it good and im glad someone put it on discussion....^^

Are they currently making these series? Or are they only like 10-20 episodes? I didn't know what this series are until i read this thread....

It's a continuation of Naruto, just a new series. I'm not sure how many episodes there will be but I believe from the manga's perspective there will go up to 90+ (at the moment) but maybe even more because the episodes are having alot of filler at the moment.

Naruto Shippuuden is currently up to episode 15.

All right, that's cool. I heard there was something about Naruto jumping like 2 years ahead but I thought that was in the original series. Good it isn't..and another question...mabye off topic but how many episode in the original series is fillers? In Bleach it's a long f*cking filler part.

There is 216 episodes I believe all together and 86 of them are filler, just a guess but its not far off it.

I watch Naruto all the time. More of the subbed stuff then the dubbed stuff. anime always sounds better in japanese to me. but yeah i've been reading the manga and watching shippuuden at the same time for quite some time now and i enjoy the shippuuden series more than the Naruto series. It's just more...i don't know really but shippuuden has a lot of potential especially here in the U.S.

Plus all of the characters in the Shippudden series kick butt, especially Sakura i mean who would have known right ^^

Sorry to say but I prefer the manga over all but recently I found out that one of my theater is broadcasting the movie of Naruto. Right now I'm not sure if it is this Shippuden or just them as kids. I even heard Naruto loses his life in the movie and a quick scene a friend showed it to me before.

Any opinions on this movie? Will anyone watch it? Is it worth watching? Naruto is actually dead?

Ok two things to say is
1:That is HUGE and nothing like that would ever be realesed in a trailer unless it happens the second it starts and sasuke has to be the main character(Sasuke Emoden)LOL
2:They probably already covered what is going to happen in the movie in the manga so he didn';t die yet in the manga so he peobably won';t die iin the movie
