Favorite summon - Page 2

I leveled up my summons in II just to help in some of those underworld tournaments. Stitch did help a lot there with his guitar thing, but on the whole I never used them otherwise. Chicken Little sucked; stupid advertisement, didn't deserve to be in the game anyway, and yet they had to include him and make him the worst summon in the history of Kingdom Hearts...

I loved to use the first keyblade and just train. I never liked using drives, thought it was a cheat.

I only used the Drives to level up more quickly, to get through some of the underworld tourneys, and in the final battle to speed things up. Besides that, yes, I found I really didn't use them that much, cool as they were.

people keep saying they used drive in the underworld tourney....... well i did the tourny AFTER i beat teh game at level 51 ^.^

That's what we did. WE beat the game and then went to the tournament just because we had nothing else to do...Well, thats it for me at least ^ ^
Oi, and i beat the game and Sephiroth at 55, quiet easy after that.

Actually, I was sort of neurotic about beating the game and getting the secret ending. I wanted to see the ending in its full cinematic awesomeness instead of just part of it--seeing it all later would have lessened the effect. The trailer at the end was disappointing, ironically. :P

But anyway, in order to do that I went through and got all the mickey head things in the journal before I even tried to beat the game. Which ultimately led to me beating Sephy, the tournaments, leveling to 99 and maxing summons and drive forms before I felt it sufficiently complete enough to go at the final boss. That's just how I am; I do this with nearly every game I play...

One thing I didn't see fit to complete, however, were the gummi ship mini games. I appreciate that they tried to make the rides between worlds more enjoyable and for the most part they succeeded, but expecting the players to have an attention span long enough to play through the same damn level a million times just to get that one prize or beat that unrealistic score was madness. Besides the fact that it is nearly impossible to build the perfect gummi ship, given the limitations on block number and AP, etc...

Sorry, but I cannot agree with you. If Sora didn't have clown shoes, then maybe he could have hopes of rivalling Mickey's greatness. But he does, so he can't.

Touche. But then that brings into question whether a team of Cait Sith, Selphie, Wakka, and any Lady Luck/Gambler compatible characters would be able to hold their own against setzer...too bad we'll never know...
