My favorite summon from any FF game would have to be the Phoenix, though there are others I like as well...

My fav Esper (that is what i call all the summons from all ff games)
is Alexander, then Bahamut.

'Tis also a very good choice. I have been somewhat disappointed that the past few FF installments haven't included either of those as summons, just stupid bosses...

I miss Alexander, he never really gets his due. You don't even get him in IX, he just gets killed off and that's it.

Eden is an amazing summon, but I enjoy Tonberry/ Cactuar/ Chocomog cuz they are funny lol.

Lessee, other favs would prolly be Anima, Hades, Diablos, Fenrir, and Madeen. And I suppose Griever and BFA weren't too bad, either...but you can't summon those.

I really hope that at least one of these new XIII installments will include all the classics: PHOENIX, Ifrit, Shiva, Ramuh, Leviathan, Titan, Alexander, Diablos, Fenrir, Carbuncle, Odin, Siren, Bahamut, etc. XIII and Agito seem to be possibilities, but some of these haven't had a good revival in years...

Anima is good, but the Magus Sisters are even better, no lie.

Diablos was a fav, especially the one FFVIII.

Yes, they were better, but they weren't as cool looking. And his Overdrive was more unique, imo.

I actually liked how they redid all of the summons for XI. Even though the MMO concept was a little shaky at first, I think the art direction was superb.

I will be surprised if Valefor isn't included in Dissidia. Seems that plot-oriented characters should take precedence over the others, except maybe "the classics."

I doubt FFX summons will be in Dissidia, most likely the classics and such.
Like Ifrit and Shiva, even Alexander.

Yet we have obscure ones like Maduin and Gilgamesh? I think Valefor has a better chance than most, seeing as it and Anima were the only summons unique to that game that also happened to be integral to the plot.

I wasn't saying Maduin wasn't cool--I wanted him in anyway. I'm just saying that if he got in then Valefor is pretty likely as well, seeing as they both were only in one game but were fortunately important characters.

Yeah, but Valefor wasn't really strong in FFX.
