Default Favorite summon

What was your favorite summon in KH1 and KH2. Mine was Peter Pan just because he worked the best for me. Mainly in the Paradox Hades Cup in KH2.

Dumbo for some reason was a help and so was Tinkerbell in the first KH.

Hmm... probably Genie in both versions as it gave me a little laugh every time I summoned him. However it's also a tie between Simba and Mushu.

KH: Tinker Bell--she saved my life.

KH 2: Genis--his Limits were a great homage to the first game's special attacks.

Talking Re: Favorite summon

For me it would be;
Tinkerbell - she also saved my life two times
Dumbo - He's frink'in wicked, what else is there to say?

Simba and the others were just useless.

This i do agree with. Especially how Bambi just skittered about pooping orbs on you. Mushu annoyed me, Simba was only useful in the beginning of the game, and Genie never cast anything useful...and none of them sounding like they do in the movies...which although expected was still a letdown...

Yeah, TinkerBell is the greatest ^ ^
Who would mess with the green fairy? Hm, anyone?
But the worst fairy is Orlando Bloom. HAHAH, JK!
The best of the best is prince Cornelius from Thumbelina.

lol.
I think I only saw Thumbelina once when I was babysitting a girl. Can't say I remember enough of it to like or dislike it. Even then, though, I think Tinkerbell could kick his butt. Disney really didn't try anything with fairies after Tinkerbell (except for Black Cauldron, which kind of got lost in history)--they knew they would never top her.

Oh, yeah the fairies were good in Black Cauldron.

Black Cauldron is an underappreciated film. It actually wasn't that bad. That along with the Robin Hood and the Legend of Sleepy Hollow seem to be popular choices for new worlds in KH III. Personally, i would like to see Notre Dame, Lilo and Stitch, Jungle Book, Bambi, or possibly Treasure Planet/Atlantis thrown in, even though the latter two were hardly up to Disney's standards. Those were all very stylistic in their approach and it worked. I wouldn't be surprised if Enchanted were included, seeing as it began Disney's slow climb back to cell animation and musical glory.

And to tie this into summons:
If they don't include Notre Dame in KH III, I hope they at least make Esmeralda or Jolly a summon, as I sort of had a crush on Esmeralda when I was younger...

Yes, Esmeralda was cool. Did you know the old dude liked her and she was only sixteen! I realize it was normal back then, but it's really creepy.
And don't get me started on Lilo and Stitch, i love that movie, even Jungle Book.

Yes, and that was partly why the movie wasn't entirely as well-received as the Golden Age movies, although if you look hard enough you can find something objectionable in any Disney movie.

Examples:
The Little Mermaid--girls selling their bodies for people they've only met once
Beauty and the Beast--vindication that Beauty and kindness on the outside can change even the most Beastly of people (imagine applying that in the real world...you'd probably die)
Aladdin--inaccurate and racist portrayal of Muslims
Pocahontas--inaccurate portrayal of American history
The Hunchback of Notre Dame--sex: that's all I have to say
Hercules--opposite vindication of B&B, that being really strong and heroic and handsome will help guys land hot women
Mulan--inaccurate portrayal of ancient Chinese society; apparently women weren't that objectified back then...?
Tarzan--only Disney movie with humans in Africa and yet not a single black person

It goes on and on...people have gotten to the point where they think they have a right to make the rest of the world listen to them complain about their own minor peeves.

That was weird not seeing an African American in Tarzan.
