Yoko Shimomura is the composer for the Kingdom hearts series. All that catchy original music can be attributed to her skills. And because she's really good at doing moody pieces, they've made her the composer for Versus. Compare:

Fenrir was a cool one, just cuz if you put on all those negative combo moves you can spam that powerful end hit explosion.

This is true. But it just didn't feel right using a bastardization of Cloud's sword. Same with all the FF-themed swords. It felt like the FF legacy was tainted or something by having its best characters reduced to keyblade themes.

Yeah it was...I wish I hadn't spoiled that game so much. I did absolutely everything in it so I could get the secret ending...So I haven't playedi t since then lol.

Same here. I played most of it through again a second time for my younger brother who at the time was too ADD to read the messages and would get stuck in the middle of missions all the time. But I seriously haven't touched that game in probably two years. It kind of sucks, because I did find it to be a great game; I just don't feel the urge to play it again...I might do KH a third time soon though as that plot intrigues me far more...and the enemies were better.
