Sigh...He's not a girl, he just has some personality issues. He is quite the strong person, just in KH Sora is like the ultimate character lol.

Meh, V was kind of generic. I can't see that becoming anything more than what it already is; not much opportunity for expansion on that story.

And I just realized that I don't want any FF game, even though VII has already done so, to have a movie or series or even game sequel/prequel. Sure, you could build on the characters more, but the plot is always going to suck. There's not much you can do after saving the world than save the world again, and the second time is never as exciting as the first. AC was a letdown because of this, among other things. I think all of the games would have been better off if they had remained a finite story so that even though it was sad that they ended, the memories were always wonderful. That's why VII is so loathed right now; all those good memories have been tainted by the increasingly inane spin offs that it has spawned.

I prefer mulling over the memories of the ones I have and daydreaming my own "what if's." When they make concrete, for sure spin offs and movies the daydreaming goes away...

They were great games, FFVI was voted the best 16-Bit (or 8-bit) RPG at it's time.

It's all because of the 3D revolution. Which is fine, because it made FF all the more popular. But indeed the better older games seem to have been left out of the fame. Hence Dissidia's significance.

Even though FF has always been the forerunner on graphics (which is awesome) graphics were never the reason I played and loved these games.

I know, it's got a great story line, yet FFVII gets millions of games to itself.

I don't think the graphics matter to me, i love a game for what it is,
which is why i love Maniac mansion.

I think that graphics have played a important role recently, but I agree that the original reason why FF was and continues to be successful are the plots and characters and battle systems.
