Umm, the "Serious" mode should be called "Critical mode". But well, I do hope KH2+ releases in North America, that'll be awesome! There has been many rumors that it's being releases in Fall 2007? I hope it's true!

Can't someone translate the text in the game and put it out on the web so we can "emulate" the game?

I just imported KH2FM+, so if anyone was still wondering I can list off the major changes:

#1) X and O are now switched- yes that means 'select' and 'back' have switched and 'jump' and 'attack' have switched. It's very different... whoa.
#2) There's a new Drive Form called "Limit Form", which is the KH1 Sora and is pretty much used for Limit Breaks. The Growth Ability with this form is Dodge Roll.
#3) There are I believe two new Keyblades- the one you get from Mushroom XIII and the Acrossing Two, which you get from beating Roxas in TWTNW.
#4) There are new scenes, mostly with the Organization discussing random stuff in the room with all the chairs. The last new scene is shown before fighting Round #3 of the final battle.
#5) There are new bosses, including the 5 Absent Silhouettes where you get to fight Zexion, Larxene, Lexaeus, Vexen, and Marluxia.
#6) There's a whole new dungeon: The Cavern of Remembrance, that's pretty damn hard and at the end you get to fight the 13 Limit Cut versions of Org. XIII.
#7) There are a few new abilities and Sora can actually have 9 Drive Gauges. There is a new difficulty, called Critical Mode, where you can start with the 0 EXP ability.
#8) There are Japanese subtitles, and the menu is all in Japanese, which is very confusing for me. The dialogue is in English except for new scenes.
#9) There are new side-quests, including finding puzzle pieces to put together posters for the game and the Mushroom XIII side-quest, which gives you random bonuses.
#10) And of course, the best change in my opinion is the addition of the Lingering Spirit boss, which if you beat helps you watch the new ending 'Birth by Sleep', a trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3.

And if you got the Final Mix PLUS, you're in for a lot of new stuff because you also get the Re:Chain of Memories game, which is very fun so far! ^.^

I hope they come out with KH2 FM in the US too, sounds like it has some cool new stuff the original doesn't have
