That's one of my favourite books ever written, although I can't really explain why without giving away crucial plot spoilers. But yeah.

And I really do need to read the Covenant books one of these days.

I got sucked back into Discworld, so now I'm reading Pratchett's The Last Continent. Events involving Rincewind are always lulzworthy.

I just finished "The Harsh Cry of the Heron" by Lian Hearn. It was the 4th book in a series about tales of the Otori, fictional events in a Japanese culture about ninjas, samuri, lords, war and love. Since I'm done with that I'm now reading "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, very thought provoking.

I FINALLY am onto "Blood of the Fold", I've had a lot of things to keep me from reading so it took me a while to get through "Stone of Tears".

I'm reading a book called Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain. It should be an interesting read since I'm about to enter this culinary field, and this is sort of like a heads up for me or something. But I won't have much time to read it because I have to complete The Never Ending Story (aka Professional Cooking for Canadian Chefs) first.

Current Read: Judge and Jury by James Patterson and Andrew Gross. So far it's very interesting - I'm about 200 pages into it.

I've recently started on the Vampire Chronicles thanks to a recommendation from a friends, just finished The Vampire Lestat.

Probably gonna start reading Kushiel's Dart, another book shoved on me by friends.

Raiser of Gales. Vampire Hunter D. By some guy I can't remember the name of. Lovely book so far, if not quite on par with the others in the series.

Vampirates: Tide of Terror by Justin Somper.
The first book was really really good, so I decided to give the sequel a try. However, I've been *cough*slightly*cough* distracted by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Tom Clancys: Rainbow Six

I just started reading it again because it's so great. Definitely my favourite book of all time. Equalled only by the Godfather.

Stephen King: Insomnia

A chilling tale of... well... old people and their sleeping habits.

And what becomes of them.

Reminds me that I never finished that book, stopped on page 300-something, got tired of carrying such a big book around with me.

Also reading Exiles in the Dragonlance series. A good book so far. I enjoyed the first in the trilogy, Scantuary and while it's not yet reached the peek of tha truly excellent story it's getting there.

I'm reading Angels in America. It's two plays about a bunch of fags with AIDS.

I have a lot of things I want to read over the summer, though. Anyone want to know what I intend to read?
