So sorry for resurrecting this biznatch. But the books release is less than 24 hours away (at least here in the states, elsewhere, I dunno.)

I went up Wednesday and reserved my copy. If I'm bored enough, and aren't feeling sick tonight, I may well go up at midnight and see if I can snag my copy.

If anyone is interested in some last minute predictions, a feller over at one of the premier Potter sites, veritaserum.com, has posted his predictions for the final book: see HERE

The only one I have to take issue with his this dude's prediction that Nagini is the same snake that Harry accidentally freed at the beginning of The Sorcerer's Stone. I say this because that snake (according to this person) was a boa constrictor, however, Nagini helps keep Voldemort alive (before obtaining a new body) by using her venom, but boas, as far as I know, don't have venom. However, I'm no animal expert. It's certainly an interesting theory, though.

Mine be coming in the mail on Saturday... Unfortunately, I'll be in Chicago on Saturday, so I won't be able to start it until I get home on Sunday night.

And no, as a constrictor, boas do not have venom. They sure as hell can bite, though.

wouldnt it be easier to just pick up a copy tomorrow? it's not likely they'll run out
they printed more copies of Harry Potter than there are bibles in the world...

HELL no. It's more fun to get it tonight, read it tonight and say you finished it the faster and therefore are more awesome and that much more nerdy and lifeless.

ok then, I couldnt finish the book tonight, i'd feel like i just wasted 20 dollars if it just took me a night to get done with it. and it would have to be a very good book to keep me awake

Before I got The Book I watched the rock opera Tommy on stage. It was awesome.

xD So I definitely pulled an all nighter to get it read. After waiting in line at Barnes and Noble, for two ****ing hours, you think I was not going to go straight home and read it?

Started it at about 2 AM, finished it shortly after 8. Mwhahahaha, beat my friend in reading it, and since he's on the east coast and I'm currently in Chicago, I'm quite proud of myself.

.... But now I have no more Harry Potter to look forward to!!
