Default Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I personally can't wait till Deathly Hallows comes out, and I'm going to try and reread as much of the series as possible between now and then (I've already forgotten a lot of what happened in Half-Blood Prince). Sad to see the end approaching though.

There are spoilers on that site btw.

I have a hard time believing she'll be able to wrap up all the plotlines in one volume, at least in anything approaching a satisfying manner, but she's defied expectations several times before, so let's hope. I'll be particularly interested in knowing what the full story with Snape is. I'm convinced there's a bunch of stuff we still don't know about.

I do look forward to it, but i think i have to reread some of the earlier books before reading this, becuase i've forgotten lots from the old ones

Yeah, Snapes story is really interesting, it's gonna be really interesting to see what side he really is on.

Same on all counts and that. Exactly, how many more people will die this time? And who for that matter? Last time I heard a lot of people would be dieing this time around. But yeah, the series is coming to a close. I do wish there were more.

I still think he's a "good guy".

I agree that there is still a lot of story missing with snape...

Yes inded I have read all the books, and can't wait for Deathly Hallows; hell I've pre-ordered it from Chapters! I'm not entirely convinced that snape is on the 'bad' side, but he certinly has done things to make it unlikely that he is truly 'good', I won't say specifics due to spoilers of course.

I'm interested in the form of the last book, since the Harry's Choise at the the end of the last (which I also won't mention)... It'll definatly be different, and it'll definatly be LONG to tie up the loose ends.
I can't wait to read it.

Really looking forward to this book, I already have my copy reserved at Hastings.

I just got into the series a couple years ago, but I've reread the books a couple times since then. I'm not a huge fan of reading, but Harry Potter gets me interested in it. What I'm really wanting to see is what the Horcruxes are and where they're to be found.

Personally, I'm just going to download the mp3's of the damn thing when it comes out. Audio books don't bother me, unless the reader's voice sucks.

I do say that I can't wait til comes out. I do wonder whats going on with the relationship with Filch and Mrs. Noris also whether Snaped is bad or not. But this book is supposed to have two deaths. For me I think it's going to be Neville and Arther Weasly. I highly doubt it will be Harry since everybody thinks it's gong to him. J.k.s going to put a twist into our thiughts.

I just started managing a new bookstore, and I *just* started reading the series. Just opened up book two today. I was one of those people who was like, "oh, it's popular, but it probably sucks" but so many friends of mine liked it that I finally picked up the first one... and loved it.

I'm not far enough into it to post what I think will happen in book 7 yet, but hey... maybe in a few weeks ^_^

Snape is most definitely still good. He just did something stupid by making that Unbreakable Vow.

Especially considering that Rowling herself has said that ...Deathly Hallows isn't the longest book in the series.

Deathly Hallows is actually only 608 pages long, which is even shorter than Goblet of Fire. I think the US versions are about 780 pages or something.

I personally can't wait. I've ordered the book and am going to the launch party in Borders, but then again I'm a complete Harry Potter obsessive, so it's expected. I've read the series so many times, and am currently reading Goblet of Fire and listening to Chamber of Secrets, but I still plan to re-read the whole series in time for Deathly Hallows

Snape is good.

I myself will be dissapointed if the whole wizareding world isn't blown wide open, and there isn't a giant wizard/muggle war with tanks/ helicopters and shiz. However, like Dragonfleye, I'm highly anticipating the arrival of this book. And I KNOW she is.

Deathly Hallows was quite a disappointment for me as a title. The titles have been wonderful so far except for Chamber of Secrets (boring). I wonder how this will all go down considering this is the last book. Hopefully my theory of Sirius of still being alive is true. I won't believe he is truly dead until I see a body. Well I haven't preordered it because I highly doubt there will be a shortage.

I totally agree. Sirius is so alive. J.K. hasn't let anything slip at all about Sirius, so I hope it will be a good surprise in Deathly Hallows.

Sorry to put a downer on everything, but:

-Snape is evil.
-Sirius is deader than the bug I stamped on this morning.
-And Ron and Hermione WILL get together, despite how much some of you may not want them to.

It's amagical world so anything can happen. Snape might be a Darth Vader and Harry his son. Who knows? I think your Ron and Hermione theory is true. People who hang out together but can't stand each other are bound to fall for each other.

I know Ron and Hermione will get together, as J.K. herself has admitted it in several interviews. Doesn't stop me hating it. And Sam, you know the amount of theories there are behind Snape being good. (as I've told you countless times) There's evidence to prove he isn't and evidence to prove he is. We'll just have to see how J.K. wants it.
