Harry Potter /After they were famous (spoilers, lulz)
|
|
Subjecting myself to this craze going around FFE at the moment, I've created a thread about the shenanigans which take place behind the sordid windows of Harry Potter. I saw an article in a newspaper earlier today, which I don't know if you are already aware of, but have copied it word-for-word here to ease your angst a little and give you one more/less reason to cream your pants. Whatever suits you..

Harry Potter author JK Rowling yesterday revealed what she thinks happened to her heroes after the last book.
In a 90-minute web chat, she told devotees what happened after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the book published this month.
Harry was named head of the Auror Department - which fights dark wizards - under the new wizard government headed by Kingsley Shacklebolt.
Harry's wife, Ginny Weasley, played for the Holyhead Harpies, the female Quidditch team.
Later, she left the team to raise their children, Albus and Lily, while writing as Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.
Ron Weasley joined his brother George as a partner in Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, their joke shop.
Ron's wife, Hermione, helps poor creatures in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures before joining the magical law enforcement squad. The couple had two children, Rose and Hugo.

Upon trying to find the source (which was taken from The Mirror), I was instantly presented with the following link, a transcript of the actual interview: News: Transcript of JK Rowling web chat
Some interesting questions put forward by fans, one of them which caught my eye lol:
|
Koen Van Der Voort: Why is the scar on harrys forehead lightning shaped
J.K. Rowling: To be honest, because it's a cool shape. I couldn't have my hero sport a doughnut-shaped scar.

Ah, here's the article I was talking about before: JK: What happens to Harry - Showbiz - Mirror.co.uk
I've never read the books but I thought the films were alright.
Not good enough? Fine, I'll leave...
Ciao! =P

Read the books. You'll feel much better.
One question I'd like to ask is what's up with Ms. Norris and Crookshanks?
And my sister did a little reaserch on HP and she found out
that Hedwig is the patron saint of orphans and the moment that Harry left the Dursleys house he was no longer an "orphan," and that's when Hedwig died
.
Kinda interesting don'tcha think.

It burned my ass quite a bit that Luna and Neville didn't get together; and according to J.K. Rowling, she ended up marrying some weirdo doucher just like her. She should be with NEVILLE!!!

You people are crazy. Obviously Luna should have ended up with Harry. They were perfect together. Ginny Weasley is too hot for Harry

For some reason I thought this was gonna be a joke thread like Robot Chicken's "Where are they now?" in regards to childrens toys and expecting Harry to become a chav or something. Nice to see Rowling came with some sort of end story though.
