Watched Akiakane last...I can't really remember what day itwas, but ti was last week sometime anyway. Doubt anyone has heard of them as they're not very famous at all, there was like 50 people at the gig, if that and it was great. I've always prefererd smaller venues and that's a bout the smallest one I'ev been to see it was a okay.

I once got to go to a performance by Tuck and Patty and I got to bo backstage to meet them both. Both of them are not too popular so that's why I have on my profile that Louise Lowery is the only "famous person I've ever met.

I guess I haven't been to a lot of shows, and some of them are embarrassing, but what I have seen have stuck out in my mind.
2002: Fall Out Boy. 2004: Van Halen ( with Shinedown. ) 2005: Incubus ( with The Music. ) Foo Fighters and Weezer ( with Kaiser Chiefs. ) Vans Warped Tour ( Avenged Sevenfold, Billy Idol, The Offspring, Dropkick Murphys, Atreyu, Matchbook Romance, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights. ) 2006: Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour ( Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, All-American Rejects, From First to Last, October Fall. ) Stockfestapalooza ( Flogging Molly, ZOX, and Bedouin Soundclash. ) The Spill Canvas ( with Sugarcult, Halifax, and Maxine. ) Doorstep Paradise ( three times. ) 2006-2007: A bunch of local shows ( Doorstep Paradise's final show, The Angry Mothers, Jamestown Story, The Throbbing Hot Rods, Filling a Void, and a bunch of other bands whose names I can't remember. ) 2007: The Autobahn Electric Pop Music Festival ( Freezepop, Cut The Red Wire, Cale, Travelogue, Joy Electric, Illustrious Louise, Prairie Primitives, The Foxglove Hunt, Flashlight Party. ) Best experience would either be meeting Flogging Molly after their show, or during the last one. At the end of the set that Freezepop played, Sean saw there was a pretty deadly mosh kind of a thing happening behind the group that I was with and myself, and he jumped on top of us and shouted, "Don't crush my friends!" Bryan and his group have been going to the same show ( Autobahn in Ohio ) for three years now and Freezepop actually recognizes them by now. So we got to hang out with Freezepop for an hour and a half or so. Those, and Doorstep Paradise is the only local band I've seen worth following, besides The Angry Mothers ( who play too many twenty-one-plus shows for me to get too into them. ) If they hadn't broken up, they could definitely be going places. Nonetheless, I keep in contact with half of the band and they're great people. |

both of my iron maiden concerts were amazing experiences first time was with funeral for a friend supporting and they cant do live, i was standing and being squished against the front barrier, and the second time they had trivium playing support and lauren harris (steve harris' daughter) shes pretty amazing too, i was sitting for that but it was still amazing
alice cooper and twisted sister was ****ing A! i mean like WOW ive never been blown away before by a band but OMIGOD whayre good! i almost died of over excitement. mad capsule markets with queen adreena supporting was good little short japanese dudes shouting and stuff with a mosh pit. again i was right at the front for that, and the best thing about it was the singer had a drink of my pint!!! it was held in the basement of 1 of tmy citys largest unis, they always have gigs on! the rasmus were amazing, i was up on a balcony for 90% of the time and we had the best view. cant remember the support band but they were a local group, still good tho. foo fighters was awesome too, cant remember who supported them, they cant of been any good tho. they were the first band i went to see and my god my ears were ringing for like a week after! |

Last concert I went to was when I got to see Van Halen live in Jacksonville...... I can now die a happy man for having seen Van Halen live in concert.... even after all this time, they STILL kick lots of ass.
I also saw Aerosmith, and they released a dvd for that show. Can't remember the name. It was pretty awesome, but I was sitting pretty far back. Then before that I saw Alice Cooper in person, and got to slap hands with him.... Let me tell ya, Alice Cooper can still put on one hell of a show, even though he's getting pretty old now. |

Thread revived.
I just got my ticket to see Rufus Wainwright in Milwaukee in August, and it's probably the best thing I've had to look forward to in a long time. I've yet to see him, but from the recordings, I can tell it's going to be an amazing show. Definitely worth the seven hour drive. |
