Worst band ever ( at least since Nickelback took a seat a little father back in the auditorium? )
I just have a major problem with the fact that I don't think they're in it because they love to do it ( and I know that's the case with a lot of bands around these days, but hear me out. ) I've listened to the singles they've put out, and I just kind of twitch when I hear them on the radio. "Lips of an Angel?" I know too many kids who think this is their theme song and so deep and moving and meaningful and it explains their entire life, blah blah, so on and so forth. Okay, great, maybe you've had a few experiences like that, but this isn't a song to be played at your funeral or anything ( like I've actually heard people desiring right now. ) The moral of the song: cheating's fun and sweet if things didn't work out between you and the girl the first time. "Better Than Me?" This song was put out there to appeal to emo hipsters who think they they don't deserve who they're with. Or maybe it's a song to help people through breakups or something. Either way, it's working, and it's taking up valuable radio time that could be devoted to Keane or someone worth it. Drives me nuts, whatever the hell it is. I'll admit, I haven't made it past the singles yet, because if the rest of the album is anything like them, I might flip out and start sending angry, potentially illegal letters to the record company. I just have a major problem with them, because I can't bring myself to believe that the songs didn't come from somewhere "deep and meaningful" that wasn't the inner fold of a wallet. But that's just my opinion. And yours? |

They suck. They actually play their songs on the local rock station, and what's worse, they get tons of requests for Hinder. One DJ actually had the balls to publicly say he wasn't playing Hinder for the rest of the night, and got tons of calls telling him he was right on in doing so (He played a bunch of them back on air). Call this cliche, but Hinder is a hinderance.

I haven't listened to enough of their stuff to decide if they've dethroned Nickelback, I can only take so much. But yeah, they're pretty fruity. At this point, if a band sounds like Hinder/Nickelback/Crossfade, or any of that, it's just to capitalize on a trend that was retarded to begin with.

I went to an Aerosmith concert, and Hinder opened up for them. I don't think there was one song that they've played that I didn't like. My only real problem with them is that Lips of an Angel and Better Then Me are played way too much and I get sick of them really quickly.
