A Beautiful Lie…I just love the whole concept of this, because in reality ‘tis true.

So, I’ve been meaning to express my thoughts about them since I’ve been listening to their album and wow, I love it! I mean, yes they been around I always adored Jared Leto and not until now that he finally stands out with this new CD which is called “A Beautiful Lie” and is absolutely amazing.

The lyrics, the harmony and the symbolism tied all at once with the emotions involved are perfect that is why this album has stood out and many are now aware about them more. Jared explains that and I quote: “It's about brutal honesty, growth, change. It's an incredibly intimate look into a life that is in the crossroads. A raw emotional journey. A story of life, love, death, pain, joy, and passion. Of what it is to be human."

Also their videos for the songs “From Yesterday” and “The Kill” were made beautifully in China; using such extraordinary imagery to their advantage. The Kill video though was based a bit on “The Shining” movie with the whole concept of the Hotel thing which was cool. Besides Jared looks sooo cuttie with a tuxedo, yummy as hell

So anyways, I am sure many don’t appreciate this type of music and is fine; we all have our different tastes. I just wonder if there are any fans out there and/or at least have given them a chance. Listening to them they are not bad actually, I think it would take a number of times for me to grow on them but their tunes are quite good and yes A Beautiful Lie is a really good song. I had heard of them but not realise who they were so thanks for sharing this band.

That reminds me my weekly album has not been done in a month...opps.

I am glad you like them Darky <3, but seriously though, awesome songs. I actually like all the songs and usually when you buy a CD you don't always love all the songs and just pick out their best ones out, but this one is all gold xD

I really did like The Kill when it came out, but I've honestly not listened to any of their other songs. I should probably check into that.

I was once stopped at a show and told I looked ridiculously like Jared Leto, though. That was interesting.

Eh, they're actually ok. I listened to them a lot a few months ago.

My favourite song would have to be Buddha For Mary, I love that to pieces, but pretty much everything LR listed is worth a listen.

I personally prefer their first album on the whole, but A Beautiful Lie is pretty decent too.

*smiles lots* ok, normaly i dont enjoy this kind of thing at all with the exception to AFI and all, but once again janet*tickles her lots* has persuaded me otherwise and shown me the light in all this.
the song 'The Story' realy appealed to me and i was so suprised that i realy enjoyed it. i will always give things a try but usaly know the outcome. with 30 secs to mars i was shocked at the way i felt during the song and afterwards....that i realy genuinly liked it.
i dont know much on the band and i havent managed to hear alot of the other songs but i will deffinatly want to after hearing several of the tracks from this album and im sure i shall enjoy them.

I never got into their first one, it didn’t jump at me like this one now “A Beautiful lie” perhaps because of the nature of it.

one thing i realy found interesting about the band is there use of symbolisum within thier music but more so in the art work and logos they use.The band uses a phoenix as there log which jered named "Mithra" has bands moto "Provehito in Altum" which inLatin means "Launch forth into the deep".
i like the meaning into the bands philosophy and they use that to contrast thier music also with the videos etc.
