Default Last album you bought

Post the last album you bought and what you thought about it. Downloading doesn't count!

Månegarm - Vargstenen

Had to try them out and i quite like them. Not all the songs are as good as you could hope but some of them are realy good. I especially like the ones with more folk influences.

Finntroll - Ur jordens djup

Finntroll is my fav folk metal band, and has been so for a few years now. Sadly, this album is a step back. It's not bad in anyway, but i expected more. It's a lot less folk metal than the last few albums.

Today i got:

Månegarm - Nordstjärnans tidsålder

I was told that this was their best album (actually some people say it's their only good album :P). Anyway i had to get it, adn yes i can agree that this prolly is the best they've accomplished. A lot more black metal than later albums, but with lots of folk influences. All in all a very good album.

Moosorrow - Chapter V/ Hävitetty

Havn't listened to it all yet. It's 56 mins long and only contains 2 tracks. What i've heard so far is really good though.

Got a few more today:

Ensiferum - Victory songs
Now this is my kind of album Heavy but very melodic and with folk influences. Might become one of my fav albums

Symphony X - Paradise Lost
Probably one of the best power metal bands in the world, if this can be called power metal. I really like the vocals, and it's really fast.

Iced Earth - Overture of the wicked
Only a single, their new full album is released in September. Don't really know if i like the idea of makin a new "Wicked" album with Owen as vocalist. I liked the last album, but Barlow's voice is so much more unique.

The last CD I purchased was Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing.

It's pretty good really, I'm fairly happy with it and I'm sure I'll love it after I've gotten used to it. My Last Serenade is a fantastic song, I'd buy the album again just for that lone song.

Just bought Smashing Pumpkins' new release, Zeitgeist. The special edition.

Haven't bought a CD since Weird Al's Straight Outta Lynwood.

I thought I'd already done this, but I guess not...A few weeks ago I purchased Wincing the Night Away, by The Shins. It's pretty swell.

Last album I bought was Iron Maiden: A Matter of Life and Death, back in December/January. Can't remember, it was sometime when I was in Thailand for vacation, I know that much. It's pretty badass and one of the few albums I can say I actually like all of the songs on.

Last album I got was one I downloaded, Final Fantasy XII OST, if that actually counts.
