It's the mp3. Because really, you need to hear this **** on vinyl. The second best drudkh album after Autumn Aurora, imho.

Corrupted - El Mundo Frio

The Japanese masters of Sludge never dissapoint me. This is one track during 70 minutes and it's some of the best Sludge I've evere heard. While a lot of people are drooling over mastodon I'd rather listen to some real good Sludge **** like Corrupted. ****en great, heavy and disgusting music.

Autumn Aurora is pretty damn great but I think I'd have to rank Blood in Our Wells above it. And I've been coming to appreciate The Swan Road a lot more as well. It's not like there's even a medicore album in their catalog, though.

Drudkh on vinyl sounds like an orgasmic experience. If I had more money I very well might order vinyls of all five albums of theirs.

Drudkh - Song of Sich Destruction

Truly heartbreaking. I really want to check out more Ukrainian folk, and it's mostly because of this song and Songs of Grief and Solitude.

Blood In Our Wells was a good combination of Autumn Aurora and the best parts of Swan Road, but imo it's not as good in general as the first two releases. I have high hopes for River Of Tears, ofcourse

Defeated Mother****ing Sanity - Prelude To the Apocalypse

How much does this band kick arse? A ****en lot. Brutal, technical, and just ****en amazing. I just can't wait until I receive my 'Psalms of the Moribund ' package in the mail. Best deathmetal band in Spermany thats active these days together with Despondency.

Yeah, I have this gut feeling that River of Tears is going to kick ass.

Should be arsed to check out Defeated Sanity at some point.

Drudkh - As the Flame Turns to Ashes

best song of 2006, imho.

Yeah, brutal death metal seems like it'd be a lot more fun when drunk, tbh

Still the same song.

"Lost to Apathy" - Dark Tranquility

A pretty heavy metal song, it keeps me awake when I get tired.

I dig BDm when sober and when drunk.

One genre however which is too ****en awesome while drunk is old school THRASH.

Sadus - Certain Death

Awesome extremely fast and aggresive Thrash metal with the best bass player in the world ( perhaps together with Les Claypool ) Steve DiGiorgio. this song simply rips poseur flesh. CERTAIN! DEATH!

Old school thrash is great no matter what state of mind you're in. I'll have to check out Sadus on your recommendation.

Drudkh - Solitude

Bloody hell this is awesome

Not true at all, haven't you observed Soulreaper and me consistently responding to each other's posts? Just because you don't give a **** doesn't mean no one gives a ****, especially if people stick to the "Describe what you're listening to" rule.

Drudkh - Tears of Gods

Another one of my favourite folk albums, again (like Ulver's record) made by a metal band. This one's all instrumental and stylized like traditional Ukrainian folk, and a few tracks are based on Drudkh riffs from other albums (although not this one). Evocative, deeply moving stuff.

Oasis - [(What's The Story) Morning Glory? #04] Don't Look Back in Anger [4:47]

I've begun to prefer Noel Gallagher's vocals to Liam's, and the John Lennon reference also wins me over with this.

Hey.

Bloody hell, that was Noel singing that song? I'd never have known; he and Liam must sound so bloody similar.

Drudkh - Why the Sun Becomes Sad

moar acoustic folk for the win.

Morning Musume - Suggoi Nakama

Not the greatest song in the world though it is from what's probably one of their weakest albums. The album does actually contain some of my favourite MM songs but the majority of the album is pretty average, like this track.

5/10
