Avenged Sevenfold - Blinded in Chains

Some good ol' A7X. This is probably my second favourite song by them next to M.I.A. That's not to say I'm a huge fan, but I won't deny they have some good songs.

I'm gonna have to check out that Hel, and the Lunar Aurora Jochim mentioned (somehow I don't have that one yet, which is odd because I love epic stuff). And Zavorash is great.

Great song from the lead singer of Led Zeppelin. Great guitar, which is what I usually focus on in songs.

Nine Inch Nails - God Given

A bit over halfway through the leak of the new album now. If you hated With Teeth, you'll hate this as well; it's mostly songs in major key and electronica plays a larger role than it did in most previous NIN albums (with the exception of Pretty Hate Machine). One of my friends says it's far less melodic than their previous work, although I only see that on one or two tracks thus far. Trent says it's probably the most difficult album NIN have made to this point. It's also been described as NIN's most minimalist work to date.

I'm enjoying it, though; although maybe it's just because the political content in the album is probably the deepest in popular music at the moment.

Blind by Lifehouse.

My fav band cause they typically having more meaning in the songs they write than most other mainstream music. Can't wait for the new album to release sometime in june.

Joanna Newsom- Peach, Plum, Pear

Another artist recommended to me by my brother. Definitely in a class of her own. It's great that she plays the harp. Also, she's a good lyricist.

Joanna Newsom is great

The Who - Silas Stingy

This song is rofltastic. The Who are classic, and laid the foundation for a lot of modern music. Almost but not quite in a league of their own for the time, really.
