Box Full of Letters - Wilco (A.M.)

This is the third track off of the album everyone generally considers to be their best. I wouldn't know, as this is my first listening to it. They've changed a lot since this album. If you want to hear real country, not that Toby Keith ****e and others like it, you should listen to Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, and Son Volt, which are all projects that involve either Jay Farrar or Jeff Tweedy. They rock.

The Kill / 30 Seconds To Mars

I hold no reason to think why this is even on my playlist at all, but I guess I can't say if I heard this again I would delete it, or even knock it that much.

Abe Natsumi - Furusato

Even though Abe took the lead vocals on the original version this version just isn't as good, simply because it doesn't have everyone else doing the melodies and backing vocals. Still a top quality song though.

8/10

God Dethroned - Ravenous

An underrated God Dethroned album imo. It's thrashier then their previous works and it contains two cover songs - but it's a really catchy album. This is the last God Dethroned album that's worth purchasing.

Crawling / Linkin Park

I've been a major fan of the Nu Metal scene and right at the top is Linkin Park -- and this song is pretty much a complex setting standards for the genre, nothing needs to be fast to be hard.

10nin Matsuri - Dancing! Natsu Matsuri

A pretty average shuffle group, they can't really compare to the likes of Sakura Gumi and Salt5 but still not bad.

Moonsorrow - Jäästä Syntynyt/Varjojen Virta

Pretty decent above average Finnish Viking metal. Well, Finns and Viking/Folk Metal is usually a retarded combination in my ears but Moonsorrow always stood out and they do it again. makes all the other Finnish Viking/Folk Metal bands unnecesary. I probably pick this album up next week. Big plus for making a song that doesn't feel like the length it is.

Quasimoto's Greenery.

Quasimoto is just one of superproducer Madlib's many personas with a sped-up pitch and a penchant for weed and shrooms. I love this song, mainly because when I'm stoned, I can't stop laughing at it.

10/10.

Bathory - Death and Resurrection of a Northern Son

Goddammit, why did Quorthon have to have his heart attack BEFORE he finished the plan Nordland quadrilogy? This was to be the culmination of his life's work

As for Finnish viking metal, you're forgetting Wyrd, Soulreaper Although their first couple of albums are way better than anything that came after. Still, my copy of Heathen came in a few days ago, for which I am incredibly thankful.

Limp Bizkit ~ My Way

Yeah, I love this song. It's older, and some of you might know it. Anyways, it's probably an 8.5/10 in my book

ugh, Limp Bizkit make me a sad polar bear.

Converge - Phoenix in Flight

One of the best American metal bands in existence, for sure. Almost makes up for all the ****ty mallcore garbage coming out of this country. Notice I said almost.

WORLD'S END - Glay

Considering these are a popular band they're much better than I expected they would be. I'd only heard snippets before now and they were hit or miss, this is the first time I've heard a full length tarck though and it seems quite promising.

Dead Kennedys - Chemical Warfare

Classic hardcore. Really, if you're a fan of punk music in the slightest and you don't have any Dead Kennedys you're depriving yourself. Some of the most hilarious musical satire ever recorded.

Ah I remember the days when I sued to listen to the Dead Kennedys, **** that's longer ago than I thought.

Happy7 - Shiawase Beam! Suki Suki Beam!

A shuffle group I overlookd for a long time, though they still can't match up to the likes of Salt5. Although not the best of all the shuffle groups it's a good one to hear when you've got your playlist on random for a bit of random stupidity.

i won't lie. i think they're the best band in the whole wide world and i luffs them.

Dead Kennedys - Nazi Punks **** Off

Probably the single greatest hardcore punk song ever.

Punk ain't no religious cult
Punk means thinking for yourself
You ain't hardcore 'cause you spike your hair
When a jock still lives inside your head

Nazi punks, Nazi punks, Nazi punks, **** off
Nazi punks, Nazi punks, Nazi punks, **** off

If you've come to fight, get outta here
You ain't no better than the bouncers
We ain't trying to be police
When you ape the cops it ain't anarchy

Nazi punks, Nazi punks, Nazi punks, **** off
Nazi punks, Nazi punks, Nazi punks, **** off

Ten guys jump one, what a man
You fight each other, the police state wins
Stab your backs when you trash our halls
Trash a bank if you've got real balls

You still think swastikas look cool
The real Nazis run your schools
They're coaches, businessmen and cops
In a real Fourth Reich you'll be the first to go

Nazi punks, Nazi punks, Nazi punks, **** off
Nazi punks, Nazi punks, Nazi punks, **** off

You'll be the first to go
You'll be the first to go
You'll be the first to go
Unless you think

Morning Musume - A Memory of Summer '98

Why this was only ever released as a B Side is beyond me, absoloutely brilliant. No cheese here just a really well written song, it isn't foten you hear MM songs with violins and the like. Completely different from anything they've ever done and yo ucould be fooeld into thinking it was someone very different.
