Yes.

Although you're spelling the name wrong, the old version is Lykathea Aflame and the new one is just Lykathé. But srsly, Lykathea Aflame's album has to rank among the best metal albums ever made.

To be honest, I wouldn't be interested in an Elvenefris II. If they could have some new innovations and learn to put up a decent drum & guitar sound, then yes, they should release a new album.

Sure why not? I liked Elvefris and if they can do an album that is just as good as that one, i'd certainly listen to it.

I knew I was getting the name wrong some how, I just couldn't remember how and couldn't be arsed to Wiki it to find out, but then it serves them right for constantly changing

The drum sound on Elvenefris was a bit weak I have to concur, but the drummer is so talented that I found myself not caring most of the time

This new album has become somewhat of a joke. Nothing has been heard about it since last summer, which is when it was due out.

Elvenefris is one of my favourite death metal albums, so naturally I am looking forward to this album.

So many metal albums that were supposed to be out last year have gotten delayed. It makes me sad.

It appears it was supposed to be recorded summer 2006. But that doesn't say anything about a release date, they could take a year to mix it as Wintersun are apparently doing for theirs

All the delays from last year will make this year all the more better. I’m starting to think that 2007 is already looking like better year in metal than 2006 was, with new Kroda, Moonsorrow, Lunar Aurora, Novermbers Doom, Pain Of Salvation and Watain(Still new to hear this one) already. New Kronos, Ved Buens Ende, Sigh and Symphony X albums in the upcoming months help too.

No recent updates on the sequel to Elvenefris is what really has my hopes down. I wonder if they even recorded it yet.

I hope it's already recorded. But maybe they'll just end up like another favourite obscure metal band of mine, Lux Occulta, and spend three years searching for a drummer.

2006 is going to be a really hard year to beat though. Every time I think I have a favourite album from that year, another new album comes and kicks my ass. Wolves in the Throne Room's Diadem of 12 Stars being the latest.

But yeah, new Moonsorrow in particular is just amazing. There'll be new Mayhem (with Attila back on vocals, thankfully) and new Wintersun later as well.
