You just don't get it. I saying that I want to see more of the Final Fantasy girls does not mean that I do not like it or want to "diss" it. And also, I think that the Final Fantasy girls are hotter than the Dead or Alive girls (I don't have an Xbox360 either).

Well I am getting bored of the good versus evil crap. If they do make a FFXIV I want it to be a Golden Sun: The Lost Age kinda storyline. Play from the seemingly anatagonist point of view for once. Heck Id make for a good story methinks!

Yeah, that's actually a good idea. They should go for that. Mabye not a real serie but well a sequel/prequel played through a evli biatch. Or mabye perhaps that you can make your own choices. Not really like fable but anyway....

Choosing whether to be good or evil is a nice idea as well, though more suited for a spin-off, as you said. That would be a nice change though.

It's cool when you get to choose your alliance. But in the two SE games I've played where you can do so (i.e. X-2 and Radiata Stories) neither side was really "bad". They were working for more or less the same goal but disagreed on the means of reaching it. SE needs to get out of this "the main character has to be inherently good" mindset.

I'd rather not think that far really, thirteen has three games coming out at the same time, and I haven't even played that much of twelve, due to the wii, but it will probably not have many improvements.

Oh, and the Good Evil thing has been done enough, I don't want to play another game with that concept. >_>

It was quite disappointing to me when I learned FFXIV is gonna be an online game, but thats just my opinion.

Although I was sad that the same races from FFXI are to be used again, at least there will be one new one.

I myself am super jazzed for it to come out. I played FFXI for two years and while I still love the game I'm excited for a new setting and a chance to start over on a new character. I always regretted choosing an Elvaan. I'll definitely be taru this time around..err I guess they have new names. But essentially tarutaru.

I'm surprised to see that there isn't much interest, err surprised to see lack of posts in this thread. Yes its an mmo, but what's wrong with that? The social aspect is one of the best parts. An rpg where people work together instead of by themselves? Can you say challenging!?

I would love to play it myself, but I haven't got a PS3, money for a PS3 (even with the price drop) or money for a fast enough net connection that won't lag every 5 seconds with something like this.

The Armoury systems seems to be be a good fit to change classes easily. It's a new system where when you use a certain skill you will gain in that area and level up and become more powerfull in that area and you could even have a little of both of something as you could be Final Fantasy's version of a paladin etc. etc. Final Fantasy XIV is shapping up to be a good online game and from an interview that sony had with the devolopers they seem to be listening to the fanbase and improving in areas where XI fell short. You have to give them props for XI because it was there first attempt at an MMO. This time around Im looking forward to a greater experience than it's online predecessor. They have also said that the world is a very large one, bigger than XI with greater detail as well as a variety of landscapes and weather. I'd like to see the discussion on XIV continue as it won't be long until this game is out next year. Look for more about XIV from SE in the comming months...XIV is coming!
