If you think there's going to be a FF after the 13th then what do think it should or will be about?

In Final Fantasy XIV, the main character should be a moogle. He will use the buster sword and Sephiroth will be in your party, BUT he'll still be evil. Squall would also be in it, and he'd have a MACHINE GUNBLADE. It's stronger than the regular gunblade. So, the moogle would be in Ivalice of course. The battle system would be in a Dynasty Warriors type system, except there'd be an ATB, but it fills up in 1 second.

Hey, I wouldn't put it past them. Everything they make these days has at least 3 of those in them. Honestly, I could care less about FF XIV, it'd be nice if they could make it, and make it up to the standards of past FF's storyline and quality wise. Without Sakaguchi, or anyone that great, I doubt it'd be too great even if it did come into existance.

As good as that idea is, I say lets get past the release date for XIII in Japan before we start contemplating XIV. We need not get that far ahead of ourselves yet, and Squeenix doesn't even have a department for the development of FFXIV yet, so you're getting ahead of the developers even.

To give my own oppinion of the next storyline, simply to appease people, FFXIV will be about a young hero of some kind, male or possibly female, then some life changing event occurs and said hero goes on a quest to save the world from evil.

I think there will be a XIV and if it is I hope it will be a game very much like Final Fantasy IX beacuse it is so wounderful. I don't want any futuristic game like FFXIII.

Online Game? You gotta be sh*tting me. I hated the fact that they made FFXI Online. Sure they can make online FF games but not from the real Series. Why not make a boring Spin-off Online instead?

i picture a cowboy bebop setting with likewise characters, but it would be as political as gundam wing, and have busty girl characters that kick ass like in DOA...ok maybe not the doa part, but the combat would be like KH, no more ATB, it was fun in the beginning but i'm sick of it, at this point FF games should just have straight up fighting with no wait.

Futuristic storylines of Final Fantasy XIII are okay but do not appeal to me. I am crossing my fingers for another Matsuno style Final Fantasy game. Set in a medieval age with empires and kingdoms out for war or something. Though we might not even get Final Fantasy XIII til 2008 so let's worry about this in 2010 or something.

I don't think VIII was ruined upon arrival. It kept me interested until I finished it. However, not much replay value for me. It had its pros and cons, like with any other in the series. I wouldn't want a sequal for it though. Unless it was well thought out & not like X-2. Which was okay but not interesting to me, except when I was shown clips of the past. I would have rather seen it go back a 1000 years and play as Shuyin and Lenne, during the war. [= A bit off topic....

As far as what FFXIV would be like, I'm with "Tom" haha. We have a year or two before XIII alone comes out anyway.

Are we asking what we want it to be or what it will be? I suspect it will probably follow the standards of world-salvation though I do hope they will abandon the dasmel in distress ****. I would love to see something more down-to-earth and more personal rather than other crusade to oust the latest ****ed-up villian.

Of course, if they had a return of Sephiroth I would buy it even if I had to hold up a bank for the money.

What I want for FFXIV is a return to the old style FF. Medieval world setting, with a smattering of technology here and there.
More underground Dwarf species, and some frog people.

I want there to be Final Fantasy XIV: Extrema Pila Acta. That is Latin for "Extreme Beach Volley Ball", loosely translated (There is no Latin word for "Volley Ball"). I suppose that it will be the game where the girls from all of the Final Fantasies go to relaxing Besaid Island and dress up in bikinis and swim suits, to play some volley ball. Who (Besides chicks) hasn't wanted to see the gals of Final Fantasy in less clothing than they already wear? With the low gravity found infamously and ironically in both Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Dead or Alive: X-treme Beach Volly Ball 2, it will be free from copy right infringment, because AC came before DOAX2.

Just picture all the most babillicious girls from every FF to date (With the exception of 9 because the bodies were messed up) bouncing arround your 1080p HD TV, where you might shift the gravity by moving the SIXAXIS. I would like to see this with the eight hottest girls featured: Yuna, Tifa, Rikku, Celes, Aerith, Ashe, Lightning, and Rosa, with all of the necessary tweaks to their appearances.

With the beautiful babes comming in from many different worlds, they have to be comming for something good. That would be not only volley ball, but many other fun mini games. They can grind down a cable from an airship, or race chocobos, or have a little katana competition with the other girls (Very competitive). They will with the other girl's hearts by giving dress spheres, swords, moogles, magic spells, and petegreed chocobos to them.

Come on, DoA Extreme wasn't DoA 5 was it? I'm sure we'll get more fanservice games anyway, girls in bikinis for the guys, yaoi simulators for the girls and ext.
Let's just not get all that in the glorious way of the next FFXIV.
I'm thinking it'll be much like FFXIII, no not futuristic, but a big fat compilation like "Fabula SuperNova Gunbladus" or "Fabula Novus Sephirotus" and will span for many games: the main FFXIV, FF versus XIV (I'm sure Nomura is still on the job", Mobile phones + PSP's, animes, CGI movies and online games.
But that'll be like in the year 201X, be cause I get the funny feeling (and these funny feelings of mine are usually right) that Fabula Nova Crystallis will take a lot of time...
