Most Useful FFX Character

Which FFX character do you think is the best? I personally thought Auron, Tidus, and Yuna were the most useful to me. Lulu got useless towards the end because Yuna could learn her magic and be twice as good. Khimari could learn anyone's moves but it just took to long to get there. Wakka was just useful in the beginning against flying type monsters. *shrugs* Whom do you think was most useful in FFX?

My main set-up was always Tidus/Yuna/Auron, for most of the game I'd say Auron and Yuna were the most useful if you actually managed to get Auron to swing and not whiff. Yuna became more and more useful when you got farther into the game, assuming you didn't completely deck out your toons at the starting of the game.

After awhile I started to use Rikku for the fun of it. Then she started getting good and my group from then on was Rikku, Tidus, and Wakka. lol. Khimari I only used when I had gotten bored or just needed someone else to play with.

The chractes were kinda to cliche in my opnion. It's like they were obvious personality traits. How lame. It was a great game non-the-less though.

Auron was my tank so to speak since he could deal and take heavy damage so I used him a lot when I played it and Lulu since I got her magic up alot.

I'd say Auron and Rikku. Auron because his weapons are so powerful and also sometimes random blades you found for him also had useful abilities. Rikku because of those shadow gems and those humoungous worms in that desert in FFX.

I don't think that [spoiler]he was a dream and that Auron was just too stubborn to die, you're thinking of Tidus[/spoiler].

My mainn team always consists of Tidus, Auron and Yuna for the high attack that Tidus and Auron bring with the white magic/summons Yuna has, this sorta strategy has been mine for pretty much very RPG I've played and Lulu, Wakka and Kimahri became less used after Bevelle.

I found Auron, Wakka, Yuna and Lulu the most useful. In fact, I barely remember ever using anyone else unless I was forced to.

Anyway the most useful characters, considering that all characters end up pretty much the same, are Tidus Yuna and Wakka. Yuna because she is the only character who can summon, and her overdrive can allow you to get off two consecutive limits from the likes of Anima (a grand total of 32 hits). Tidus and Wakka because they have the next largest maximum hits from limits and can both swim.

Rikku can be pretty useful as well with some of her limits, but just not as good as the above three.

The problems with Kimahri, Lulu and Auron is that you can't get off many hits from their limits. With Auron and Kimahri its 1-2 maximum. Who wants to do 1x 99,999 when you could do it up to 16 times from a single limit with Wakka? Lulu is also pretty useless as her magic damage is reduced in her limit, and you still can't do particularly many hits.

My main team was... Tidus/Auron/Kihmari-LuLu. It switched between the last two. Anyways, Auron was real helpful in the beginning and middle parts. lulu and Kiharmi were good in the ending parts, along with Tidus. So, it was all evened out for me. I also used Yuna sometimes so train and lvl up. but me being a fan fo Aruon would say... Auron

My main team was Auron, Yuna and Tidus. I moved Yuna onto Tidus' sphere so her strength boosted, making her hit 15000 with a twap of her staff. Auron and Tidus were just there for show.

As you progress all the characters end up pretty much the same but early in the game I'd say Tidus as he could deal with the quick monsters as well as the hard and flying ones to an extent.

Auron and Rikku... Auron for sheer brute strength, and Rikku for that Mix overdrive of hers. Come to think of it, Auron's overdrive was pretty dang useful, too.

I also followed the usual Tidus, Yuna and Auron trend setup. Tidus for agility and because he was the only one with access to Haste so early in the game. Not to mention he was the main lead. Yuna not only because she was the only viable healer but also a summoner. (Aeons are broken in this game...*cough*Magus Sisters*cough*) Auron because he hits hard and is basically my tank. Everyone especially Wakka lost their purpose after a while. I also thought Rikku came too late in the game to be of some actual use. : /

My staple were Tidus, Auron and Yuna too. I did like Rikku as a character, but she was far too weak, and did come in too late to be of any real use. Tidus had great agility, and if you move him onto Auron's track, his strength really builds aswell. Auron really is a tank, and he can take a lot of damage. He was in my team pretty much all the time

Yuna wasn't one of my favourites originally, but in one playthrough, I chucked her into my team, built her up, and she became a little powerhouse. I can't play without her now.

i agree.rikku's only advantage was the mix but dang was that useful.

The mix was useful? how so? I only found it useful when I accidently made something and remember what contents made it. lol. Other than that I hated that overdrive and only used it in time of desperate need.

Auron was really useful, but he didn't have that good of agility, which is where Tidus came in. Lulu helped out a LOT for like the flans and elementals.
