Do you HATE or LIKE FFXII?

What i hate about FFXII

1. Must wait for tha stupid gauge to fill up to attack
2. in FFX i don't to use any stupid licence to equip tha equipment or wepond
3. I just don't understand why the starting already so hard when sneaking in to the palace?!

What i like about FFXII

1. Can move around the battle field
2. Don't need to wait for your turn to attack
3. The monster can join in the battle makes more interesting

i love FFXII.

the battle system is new and a refreshing injection of originality into what was fast becoming a stale and boring part of every FF game.

the story is a break from the norm, i'm 35+ hours in and loving the lack of love story.

the characters actually have some character this time, i'm not liking the lack of a definitive main character and the fact that espers are virtually useless.

There's lots of things I love about this game but I'll mention the main thing that's pissing me off and it's a flaw it shares with FFX. There's a major lack of enemies in the game, I'm talking variety because just like in FFX it's like every area shares the same five or 6 FIENDS and just gives them a lick of paint and apparently that makes them a completely different enemy. **** off.

I like the new storyline, not being the same old story, but with different characters, and the liscensing up leveling. I don't like how you can't switch between party members like in Final Fantasy X, or the lack of an extra party slot, also gambits can be annoying if you have many of them.

I really like the game. I was very surprised that they made it as good as it was compared to FFX. I only wish that you could control the guest party members a little bit more.

And Tidus_SpiralCut32, the place that you live, you spell it Zanarkand not Zarnakand if that wasn't a purposeful mistake.

Well I'm only like 6 hours in (Barheim Passage) and so far I'm loving it. I like the BS, but also dislike it. It's fine when you have more than one party member but when you're alone it becomes a bit tedious.

You can still do that. Just as long as the character isn't doing an action or being targeted they can switch.

Final Fantasy XII has by far surpassed the previous two games. (FFX and FFX-2) It takes the best in those two games and practically fixes the major flaw in them, the way to linear storyline. FFXII's story is way more flexible. The battle system is also a cross from X-2's ATB and the online RPG FFXI. Square has basically restored my faith in the series at the moment.

Well, X had annoying characters and only two weren't annoying, Auron and Kimarhi, and since Kimarhi was a weak pansy, he doesn't count. Plus a few things in FFX seemed like they were just thrown in there. [spoiler]Yu Yevon[/spoiler]

X-2 Was absolute ****. Storyline didn't appeal to me. It seemed rather boring and the missions were a bad idea. Plus I had to play as a character I hated. Battle system was ace though.

XI I never played.

XII, while it isn't absolute perfection, it's still a pretty good game. I liked all the characters (though Vaan's design was a bit annoying). The storyline was pretty good, kept me interested. Battle system was highly improved and the no loading times I loved, and the license board was improved from FFX. Though like Yaguchi has said, when you're playing a one character battling, it does get rather tedious. I found anything under three people, and sometimes even three, to make battles difficult. I just can't live without my guests.

So yeah, XII is my favourite.

I really like FFXII too. I like the fighting in it better than any other FF. I also like the gambit Idea, it's new fresh and easy to use.
