Well my favorite one from X is basically a tie: between Valefor and Bahamut.
I just love both of them, I also find their original beings rather funny.

From all the Final Fantasies, I would have to say Bahamut, and from FFX , both Bahamut and Valefor becaue they both looked like dragons.

Actually, I think Shiva was good in X as well. She looked her best though, I think, in FF8. Ifrit looked his best in 8 as well. Ixion wasn't bad either. I liked his Overdrive.

I took a fancy to Yojimbo, even though he wasn't particularly strong unless you gave him heeps of gil. I guess it was because he swindled us all out of cash.^-^

Also, in part because he was a relativeley new and interesting summon for final fantasy. Shiva and Ifrit are classic, but even bahamuts many forms get tiresome once and a while, and you want something fresh. Now, XII's summons, they were fresh.

They were all good, but their actual worth was nothing. They died too easy. But on their looks, I'd say they were alright, I missed Ifrit and the gang though. They could have come up with better attacks for them though, I think the only one I really liked was Famfrit's Tsunami attack.

They were good for easy damage with overdrives, then they get bannished or w/e and u overdrive the next one. I guess they were more useful to low level parties

Yeah, definitely not useful in boss fights though. That always annoyed me. I'd rather spend my MP on a Quickening because they can't hurt you while you're doing it.

Wait, i was refering to X.... Oh well, Yeah, i really wanted to use XII's summons more often, but the just wern't strong enough. You swap out two party members for one party member who is equal to or less than one of the allies you switched off. I liked the Zodiack sign theme though, Im so proud that i was blessed with the scion Chaos.

My favorite Aeon would have to be Shiva, and Esper would have to be Ultima.

Shiva has always been my favorite summon, probably due to my being automatically drawn to ice/water monsters/attacks.

Ultima is just plain awesome.
