The recruiting etc was entertaining, however, to play more than two or three games at once got a little boring. Perhaps one or two games of Blitzball everytime you went on FFX wasn't so bad. Nothing will beat TT Cards, however.

I never liked it at the start, but as the game came to an end I soon found new team members and worked up the ladders. It's a pretty awesome sport -- even though it relates to about every sport using a ball out in the world. What got me is that they were underwater and for a long period of time, yet Tidus has to gasp for air after landing in Besaid? Heh.

i did not mind bliztball its just that you have to do so much of it to get wakka's weapon and overdrives that it did start to get on my nerves.

Try not to double post. Just use 'edit'.

I was more like 'play a whole game', then I would congratulate myself for playing such a boring match.

i had to work myself up to playing it. i'd spend hours walking around Luca before the match just to put it off.

i don't know how SE made something so un-fun. they built it up in the beginning movie and then totally failed to deliver. damn them.

Yeah i didn't like it too much either. It was kind of cool looking and they had a good idea going but they should have made the controls a lot more simpler to give it a more soccer/football game feel.

Well when I first started playing the game I just went strait through Luca and never bothered with blitzball. Not till after I had finishesd the game I felt like playing it. I guess at first I didn't really like it too much because I didn't know about the auto button. Then after I realized that I could control the players manualy I started really getting into the game. I would have to say that it is a very fun side-quest and if you really get the hang of it you might enjoy it a little.

I loved blitzball in both games, seeing how in X-2 even though you couldn't control the characters, you put them through plays and hoped they had enough moxy to win, the bad part is the lack of any real techniques. Also one stat would go up and one would go down, unless you waited until one would go up and the other would go down, FFX, I can play hours on end because I love the game so much, I obsess over blitzball so much in real life when I'm not playing. I tend not to go for mark mode which leaves me with not much techniques however it also makes it more challenging, also I tend to level up, all my characters so I often don't score high amounts. I think SE made FF X2's game go faster because a lot of people here are complaining about how slow it is.

The first part I agree with, but the part with break and no break is used for players with low endurance to not get the **** creamed out of them everytime especially if they have a good shooting or passing stat, also if only two people with good blocking are in the way of Tidus and you want to perform the Jecht Shot, just choose no break unless the goalie's catch stat sucks. Also defensively, have your defenders have high blocking and attacking, making it hard for both situations.

I also only played it when I had to. I thought it was pretty terrible to be honest, especially since it had so much potential to be a lot better.

I'm going to put it this way: It was decent on FFX (meaning it was playable). On X-2 it was terrible (meaning unplayable). The end.

Lightbulb Blitzball was Fun!

Blitzball was amazing at first, but after doing reputitional games, it did seem a bit boring. It's fun enough to get Wakka's 'World Champion' weapon and/or his Final Overdrive 'Aurochs Reels' However I don't think I could of coped trying to get to level 99, I think the higest I've gone is around 60.

The reason why I found it boring, is partially my own fault. I found a useful technique like most people, and kept on using it in further games. I didn't really have the time or patience to diverse a better stratergy *shrugs* FFX-2 blitzball was really boring, when I first heard that Blitzball was going to be in the game, I was quite excited, only to realise the dullness of the game.
