I beat XII about a month ago, and I have to say I was really impressed and enjoyed every minute of playing it. It's gotta be one of my favorite RPG's now.

The battle system had to be one of the greatest elements of it too, took the tediousness out of it. I actually enjoyed leveling up in this one.

So what did everyone else here think of XII?

yeah i do too i think they could have done the battle system a little better though because i hated while your waiting to attack you have to get hit i wish you could just start hacking at guys

it's like ok i'm charging up my attck guys hold on almost there somethin like that

I don't think its going to be one of my favorites, but I'm really enjoying it. The only thing that really bothers me is Fran's voice. I don't know what it is that bothers me, it just does. Over all though, I am quite impressed.

I've played about five hours and I dislike it very much. The gameplay isn't all that well, the battle system is original but I don't really enjoy it. I don't enjoy the many changes they did to it. I did buy it however, in-case I get bored. The good thing about FFXII though, is the graphics. Great graphics.

I beat in in like a week of getting it. It definitly had some fine points, storyline, gameplay, etc. However it was a pain in the ass to get Gil and the battle system annoyed me sometimes. Overall though I loved the game.

The battle system was really great. It was different and original. It was better than the standard take turns in action type thing. It was really cool. You could see changes in the weapons and armour and leveling up was quite fun too. Although I hated the license system. It sucked in my opinion.

Overall I liked the game. The story line could have been much better but I would give it a 8.5/10.

I thought the game was an overall disappointment. I thought there was a total lack of emotion in the storyline as well as the characters. Also some characters were horribly underdeveloped in my opinion.

The battle system was somewhat interesting, until you get most of the gambits. Then I would find myself not even holding the controller during boss battles.

The music was not very good from what I can remember. There was no song that stood out in my mind throughout the entire game.

Overall I would give the game 6.5/10, because of the graphics and voice acting.

I didn't like the license board either. I hated how it was the same thing for each character, I mean I can see how it would allow you to take whatever direction you wanted with the character, but it just seemed so unoriginal and blah.

The music wasn't bad. Course not as good as the other FF's, but I was expecting worse.

The only problem I had with the storyline was the lack of any kind of a romance. That's definitely the girl in me speaking, but hey.

Unfortunately, I live in the land of much dingos where games are scarce.

Anyway, FFXII arrives in about 13 days; can't wait to play it. I was a pretty big fan of Vagrant Story, so I have some high expectations for FFXII.

It was my favorite in the series, followed by FFVIII. It took me forever to complete it just because I didn't want to see it end, just like the quote on the flash site. Great game, I'm looking forward to Revenant Wings now.

Its an alright game thatll take up bout 50 hours of gameplay time if u do hunts and take ur time. I liked it to an extent. The storyline was in my opinion boring because they got so political with it. Also it kinda lacks sidequests compare to other titles. And they really didnt give much character emotion or much backround on them even though they introduced them all pretty much 3 hours into the game. The battle system is great if u like it that way but i didnt like it. I liked having random battles( i dont kno why but i just like it). It probably my next favorite ff afta 6,7,and 9.
