The welcome forum has a post count so that when a new person posts there they get their first post count and it helps them feel a part of the community, there's a reason for it to have a post count.

Oh, well that's smart! ON my welcome thread somebody crtisized me because I called the thread Hi (or something like that) and he said I was only making the thread because I wanted a post count. But hell that was my first thread, son of a bitch needed to realize it. But I think someone in the staff deleted his post.

But it doesn't make much sense if the people welcoming the new user are getting post count as well, because spammers would then only be welcoming someone to make their imaginative e-penis 1/9 of a centimeter longer.

However, my post count seems to be unaffected unless this problem has been fixed already. >_>

And if it has, someone is lacking in common sense.

Every forum has a different perspective, I guess. I know one where the intro thread is in a non-post count zone, and on the flipside, there are other boards which do allow the posts to contribute to your score (for whatever the reason may be).

But I'd like to point out; Ever since being disabled, the Playhouse area has become decidedly less active!
