Unfortunately that mixed with the new AJAX craze, means a very inefficient shoutbox.

You'd be better off installing some kind of java chat applet, or removing it all together than using vBulletin.org's modifications at this point in time.

Bare minimum, avoid all AJAX vBulletin Modifications, as they are server nightmares.


On a side note, would it be possible for me to get a copy of the forums skin? I'm not interested in the design persay, only a rather large modification I wrote to the profile template.

ad's are a simplistic way to pay for the hosting cost and every thing. and besides the ads aren't much. just ignore it a bit. and if you're having that much trouble with ads why don't you just send in a big donation. didn't FFE have some sort of donating thing back then. If it did it didn't do to well. besides not to many people go and donate cause the majority of the forums is a bunch of teens (last i checked) and a few early 20s. Assuming the the 20 year olds are in college, not to many people can donate much. especially 14 year olds like moi here who have to still depend on their parents for an allowance.

Yeah.. I think it's rep power... as to how many rep points we can give out.. Don't quote me on that though..(Had 24 now down to 3.). But yeah.. I finally got back on.. Had one heck of a time logging in.. Tried everything... Had to reset my whole computer before getting on FFE.(Took me four hours...). I was getting the whole you are signed in waiting for it to reidrect me to the forum main page.. Glad to be back but yeah.. A new skin would be nice compared to this. that and knowing exactly when Staff will be reinstated?
