Darkness skies

Story:
It is the age of men, Where demons are sought after. For power and glory. Many dark rituals have been occurring in the small land of Azure. The dead walk once more and evil armies of fiends move along the contryside. Revenging and burning down whole villages in a single night.

Unable to stop the on slaught of countless evil demons. The ruler of the land commissioned 6 sages to summon demons of their own to fight against this new evil. But the Dark Lord of the West got wind of this plan and killed all the sages before the summoning was complete. A lone Demonic spirit was summoned and thrown to another area of Azure. The Forrest of Tailam.

At the same time. A young 16 year old girl was running from a band of goblins badly wounded and terrified. As she cried out for help. The demon spirit heard her and flew towards and into her body. Producing a massive destructive wave of energy and the area was decimated. As the girl lay there, in the middle of all the chaos, a Cloaked warrior found her. Who also heard her cry for help.

Moving her from the impact site. He took care of her till she awakened a few mins later. She, not having any family of her own, stayed by this man's side. For he promised to stay by her side and protect her with his life. Meanwhile the Dark Lord sent out troops to find the sole demonic soul that had been summoned and distroy him. For the lord didn't want any obstacles in his path to the domination of Azure! This is the story...


Layout of the land:
(Note: Every area has an elemental affinity and most of the creatures and people stem from that element. Ie: Water based. Fish and merpeople put you can have thunder and ice elements there as well.)

Azure is a beautiful land. Filled with wondrous creatures and places. In the center of this land is the capital city of Mehailna (light based). Where The palace of Selasia, made out of crystal, is in the center.

the forrest of Tailam (earth based) is to the south east. Where the elusive Elves dwell and prosper.

The mountains of Shamires (fire based). Are the home to the Dwarfs and the Emberians(people comprised of fire and is to the north west.

The city of Mersailias (water based). Is the underwater capital of the merpeople and Sirens. Which south of Mehailna.

The Releimok Ice caps (ice based). Is situated directly north of the capital. A desolate land of Ice and snow. The race that lives there are the Ramisa.

The floating city of Aeronias (Wind and thunder based).Is the home of the Dragons and dragon demons that live in harmony with the Crawnaks. This place is situated in the valley of corrupted gravity to the Far north east(Yes it's a rip off off of Legend of Dragoon but if you got a better name for the place just pm me.).

The land of spirits: Zal Beghin (Non-elemental) is in the south west. A sacred place where many dare not tread there for no one has ever come back alive.

The Dead Zone formerly known as Yhai Mal Kin (dark based). In the West. This is the place where the evil is pouring from. The border begins after passing through the Death forrest.

Races

Multiple and diverse people live in Azure. the races are as follows:
Humans: The main race in Azure. Moderately skilled in battle and construction. but their lust for power could be their downfall.

Elves: Mystics by trade. Elves are in tuned to nature and the spirits of the elements and are great fencers.

Merpeople/sirens: Living underwater. This race is significantly agile and are masters of water. Being able to change their lower half if needed to go on land they can travel to other places but have to rest periodically.

Ramisa: The people of the icy north. They have attained the ability to transform into animals. Having said that the Ramisa are covered in fur and are beastlike in appearance. They may live the life of Barbarians but their intelect is that of humans.

Emberians: The fire clan of the Shamires mountains. look somewhat like humans. but with one key difference. they are primairally made up of fire and ash. with a reddish skin tone, bright ember eyes and a fire for hair. They cannot be missed in a crowd. Masters of fire and dance they enjoy an easy life either than the Dwarfs they share their home with.

Dwarfs: The other race that lives in the Shamires mountains. Are a rock type people. specializing in smithing and metal manipulation, Plus mining. They are the best there can be in this field of work.

Crawnaks: The winged people of the Sky's. Often mistaken for angels. The Crawnaks are part bird. Having the wings, tail and legs of these majestic animals. They are Primarily Scholars and keepers of history in Azure.

Spirits: exactly what the word means. The multiple spirits of Azure that gather at the edge of Zal Beghin. As well as the elemental ones that help out Elves.

Demons: Neither purely evil or good as can be said about Angels. They are being summoned to the Land of Azure to concur or help man.

Angels: Same as Demons. The Angels are comming to give their services to whomever needs them as well as some are being summoned and are under contract with the summoner.

Fiends: The race of evil monsters. Which include: The undead (Zombies,reanimated skeletons,Ghosts,etc...), Orcs, Trolls, Harpies, Vampires, Werewolves. Just to name a few.

Mythical creatures: The rare and majestic creatures that live in Azure. Some are. Dragons, Unicorns, Phoenix's, Faeries, Dryads, Griffons, etc...

appearance: has green eyes and blue hair. he is physically 16 years old but is actually thousands of years old and doesn't know anyhting about himself.

history: as far as darkeclipse can remember he woke up one day surrounded by demons.they tried to kill him but someone came and killed them.the man's name was hiro and he taught darkeclipse how to control all types of magic.when hiro disappeared one day, darkeclipse ran into the forest where he met a demon named iak who later disappeared in the same forest. left to wander he eventually came to a spot covered with blood. he left the spot feeling dizzy and collapsed. right now all anyone knows is that he's still in the forest unconscience to the world.

abilities: can use al kinds of magic and knows how to use big swords.

strengths: darkeclipse is smart and knows how to lift a cursed sword that no one else can wield.

weaknesses: has no defense and his sword is cursed preventing maximum use until the curse is lifted.

I'd like to join if you'll have me aki. I was hoping to play Shakan'Dar and have him from the Dead Zone. (where else?) He will be a remnant of Yhai Mal Kin. (which I'm assuming used to be a sort of empire before the evil came?)

appearance: 16 years old due to a curse that keeps her young. (curse in history) she has blonde hair and amber eyes.

history: used to travel with darkeclipse after her parents died from a pack of demons.one day she entered a forest with darkeclipse when they were both 15 but darkeclipse disappeared soon after entering the forest.left to wonder the forest for a year she came to a clearing of trees with mages around. a witch came out of the center group and introduced herself to lighteclipse. lighteclipse looked at the clearing and saw darkeclipse laying on the ground.she asked what happened and found out that he was under a curse from an evil sorcerer.a flash of light came and all the other mages were killed. the witch then decided that if lighteclipse would offer to destroy the sorcerer as a price after darkeclipse had awoken then she would offer her eternal life before then. (on;y means she won't age not that she's invincible.)

abilities: can use holy magic and (kinda) use a bow.

strengths: can infuse holy energy into anything.

weakness: isn't good with weapons.

Only one character per person at the beginning. My character is a split one, it maybe two identies.. but one character as a whole.

she won't come in till later. (a lot later most likely.at least after they're out of the forest..............and someone needs to find a clearing covered in blood so i can join your rp.lol)

Sorry to mention this before. but I guess I should. This is a semi lit or Literate rp. PLease use the right punctuation if you are speaking or thinking things. There is getting some confusion.

And another thing. there are and can be more than one story arc in the main story line. Don't follow everything like it's the end of the world. If you are left behind or are about to meet someone else... If they are making the effort to meet you and aren't in a small story arc of their own. Stick with them. No one will really meet fully yet. Get the handle of the situations for now. I know another person that will be having another story arc comming in that will sure enough tie everything in. SO for now.. stick with the characters that are willing to know each other. Don't try to get into a story arc that is currently being organised between posts. (I.E. the one with Rob and I. We've been talking over MSN and already have most of the stroy arc already written. That's why we haven't been including some people. We've been trying to get Silencer/ Garath's background out of the way first before anything can really happen. It's almost over and we'll be able to look at the other characters soon enough.)

PLus timing in an rp is another thing. Some people aren't on when others are. So people usually stick with the people they are able to rp with to further the story. We are not bashing anyone.. we just stick to what we know and if you don't approve or like what is going on. PLease pm Me or Rob before posting. Confusion will be lessened then and no one will be brushed off in the end.

oh okay. i get on somtime between 5-8 p.m. or 7-? in the morning.

And what Time zone are you in? that really doesn't help much for people who are in Austrailia or anyother timezone other than yours.... I live in Canada and I use mountain or passific time.(Can't remember)
