Michael Vick Should Pay!

I wasn't sure if this belonged here or in General Square.
Its about Michael Vick and what he did, and how the laws are bent for him and his cruelty!

Before Anderson Cooper shut tonight's show down, I managed to get a comment in. I'm not sure if he will read it or just pass over it, but I will try to post it every time he has a show. Here is what I said to him about Michael Vick.

My opinion about Michael Vick is he enjoyed doing the dog fighting and the killing. He wasn’t doing it for the money, he was doing it for the for the power he felt. I don’t think he is one bit remorseful. If he had been doing it for the money, he would have been remorseful.

I mean, did you look at the smirk on his face during the interview. I didn’t see any tears, I didn’t see any remorse!

What do you guys think about this? Do you think he should be let free for killing 70+ dogs in dog fighting? I think he should rot behind bars and beaten with a wrench or whipped by a whip! He shouldn't even be allowed to play football again! I can't believe NFL even gave him another ****ing chance!
He as a role model for children! For teenagers!

What kind of example are we setting for the children of this generation? That people can kill innocent living things for the benefit of pleasure they get from hurting poor animals?
The kind of dog he was killing and using to fight others was probably the smartest and most feeling out of dogs!
I own one and he is the most lovable animal I have ever seen! He has the most personality! He has more than Michael Vick or anyone else I know (but not in person) that is famous!

Eh, I really don't know what this is about...(Maybe you can add a link to a newspaper-article about Michael Vick, and what he did to whom?) Because I'm really not familiar with all the news in America :P (I'm from Estonia btw)

But so much I can say on this topic: American laws have huge flaws. In some states you're allowed to beat your wife with a stick, in others there is literally no laws against animal-abuse at all. It all doesn't seem to matter the least bit when one of your so-called-celebrities is caught in the act of breaking the law. They will always be forgiven / know whom to hire to talk them out of stuff. Especially when talking athletes, they seem to get a wild card for everything...

I remember a case when a Pro-football-player got 2 and a half years on probation for rape.

In the end, American Conservative parties will never accept animals to have the least necessary basic rights...and Since Republican and Democratic parties both seem to be some sort of conservatives...well yeah that's the main point right there. As long as people keep getting away with stuff like that, especially the big public figures whose processes are followed by the press, people will never start thinking of mistreating animals as a crime.

About a year or two ago, he had a under ground dog fighting arena. He was caught and he admitted what he did. He plead guilty.
He killed over70+ Pitbulls because he loved it, he loved to seem them squirm and cower in fear every time he came near them.

He got a sick pleasure from doing it, he's not sorry and he wasn't doing it for money, he's already rich.

Yes, America has a lot of flaws, too much actually. I will not be living here if I get a chance to leave.

But its wrong for him to have been given a place back on football and on tv, where millions of impressionable children and teenagers can watch.

Don't you find it wrong?

Sounds like he's a sexual sadist. Not a that rare sight I must say since the basic human will always find pleasure in controlling another living being. The sexual sadism is just the most extreme form of it.

In my honest opinion he does deserve the death sentence, then again I'm actually pro death sentence in any case of a violent crime leading to the death of any living being of human or near-human intelligence. Not only because they deserve it but also.....I could go on on this for ages so I'll cut it here.

To answer your question, I agree that him being back back in the NFL/NHL (don't remember which one it was XD) is just wrong. However there is thousands if not hundreds of thousands cases just like this, and the single person to blame for this is of no real use...so clearly the fault lies in the overall justice system. As stated before enforcing the death sentence would solve quite a few problems.

I don't trust blogs, they are never subjective enough imo.

The blog isn't a blog lol its our CNN (Nation's news room) where we talk with one of the hosts of CNN. His name is Anderson Cooper. I told him how I felt. Not so sure he listened...

The justice system is only letting him go (I'm not racist! Please don't think it!) because Michael is black and they are afraid he might claim racist or something. Plus, huge publicity.

I hate him, and so does the rest of my family. I have half Pitbull and he is so kind. He understands words like "There home, boy!" he'll run to the door and will bark. When my parents leave of course and come back. He's so smart and loving, he can tell the sound of their engine from the rest! o.O now there is a smart dog!

I don't wish Vick and happy life, I hope he loses everything, just like those dogs. He's a sick bastard who should be beaten!

I am a animal lover, I own cats, dogs, birds, turtles, snakes, lizards, fish, ducks and more. I hope he pays. *angry face*

That does happen a lot too, however even though I don't know much about the case I doubt it to be like that in this particular one. Usually the cases that are dropped simply because the defendant is black, have either a background of possible false accusations due to prejudice assumptions....so since this seems to be a pretty solid case, with hard evidence it's probably just about his status as a celebrity and since he's an athlete he brings in money, which he wouldn't if he was in jail. So my guess is there was a 3rd party involved, following it's own agenda, making sure he walks asap. Money can buy anything in the USA. ANY-fcking-THING. Or at least so it seems :/

No, it so happens its on a blog. Think of it as a chat room to discuss politics and more than CNN hosts and sometimes Obama.

Its about his race and how much money he brings in. If he were behind bars, a lot of greedy mother fckers wouldn't get their money. So they let him go because he makes money. He's only gonna do it again and probably not get caught this time.

Dogs truly are smart, cats...well...not so much :/

My cats are genius. They can switch channels, check both sides of the road and even learn tricks. They are more stubborn and don't listen because they are meant for the wild. People really don't get to see their smarts unless they've helped and healed them like I have.

Yep ^^ you can say I'm an animal shelter. For birds and that kind of animals, we heal and feed until they are well enough to fly or go back to where they came from. We love to help animals. We've taken in quite a few that are considered family members.

No, I take care of them with my other sister who loves and respects animals the same way I do. She's younger by a year.

So yeah the system in USA is fcked up, it's as easy as that. Money controls everything, and what money can't buy you just send your troops to destroy. :-/.

Animals do to have souls. Its what makes them think, eat, sleep, care, love, play and have personalities. You should care, because they are living things just like you are.
I actually do want to stop eating animals, but its too expensive for ME to afford. I hate the way we are treating them.

I also hate America also. I can't stand the justice system, the health care...I hate everything we have changed into to. If we could just be like how we were back in 1776, maybe we all would still be under one untied union, instead of people fighting against people.

Michael Vick shouldn't even be allowed out of jail. If it had been someone poor, imagine what would have been done to keep that said person in jail.

I don't believe in something like a soul. However I think there is a big difference between animals like dogs, and animals like cows or pigs...the latter are bred just for one single purpose, to become steaks that is. And it's not like they are treated badly, at least in most cases. There is exceptions to everything, but then again you can't blame everyone that eats meat for the minor amount of farmers that mistreat these animals. A common pig does nothing but eat, sleep, sh!t and oink, for what...like 2 years? I'm not too familiar with numbers...but in the end they don't seem to be unhappy with it...and if they are put to sleep via drugs before being slaughtered then there is nothing inhuman about it imo. I wouldn't give up on meat for anything in the world.

I'm sick of this **** as well. Which is why I decided to post about it. I love football, and to know such a low life, sick ass bastard is getting another chance to play it, makes me sick!

I have animals and sick people poison them, shoot them, beat them and break their legs and leave them on my yard for me to find them. The charge toward my animals with their car, attempting to murder one. I hate animal abusers. I hate people who think animals don't deserve a life or anything. I hate them. They are living just like us! What would you say if aliens came and beat and made us fight each other for their own sick pleasure? You'd want them to stop, wouldn't you? Yes you would! Because it hurts you, because it makes you feel bad!

Souls do exist, whether you don't want to believe it or not, that's a different problem. The world doesn't need your or anyone else and their opinions on souls to know they exist.

On topic:
I wish the most harmful, disgusting thing on Vick. I wish him to have no life, to lose all his money, to live on the streets. To know how we poor people have to actually work hard for what we get and when we get and to respect the value of a dollar.
