I don't have proper photographys of most of my paintings, I figured it's about time I start going something with it. For some reason, after I started art school (If you can call my school that) I've sort of lost all kinds of inspirations. Basically I've given up my potential art career. The only reason I sometimes do it, is because people pay me from time to time. After all, I'm only a poor student.
This painting is one of the few that has some kind of soul to it, allthough this isn't the finished image. I have no idea what I was thinking when I made those collar bones and stuff. But yeah, enjoy, and please comment, even though I'm not going to do anything with it as it isn't mine anymore. Yes it's suposed to be upside down, and I call it "The Dip" |

Do you have any more work you can post? I really like The Dip. It's full of detail for being a very simple pose and it's far more 'complete' than many peoples' work around various art forums that I've been. Is it an oil painting? I really can't give any criticisms on it as it's above my level, but I'd love to see more of your paintings. Please find a way to get them posted.
Again, can we post more than one-line 'you're good' messages? I think it'd be more of a help to the artist if we did. Thanks. |

Though it seems unfinished it almost seems complete in a way. It's weird to explain lol. I'm not good at articulating what I need to say :|
The composition of the painting is probably one of the best things about it. Imo, it's more of an effect to have the figure upside down. It almost forces the viewer to look at it in more depth to figure out exactly what's going on. The shadows you have aren't strong, but they're still effective. I like it better that way, that's kind of what I was getting at when i said it looks unfinished but still complete. It's a shame you don't draw much anymore, but I know exactly where you're coming from. I hope you'll post some more pieces of work you do on the side. :]
