Kazuki had only just arived from a long trip from his homeland, he'd been hired for a job and with the pay he was getting for it, he was only too happy to ablige. After this, if he wanted to, he could go back home and live out the rest of his life as a very wealthy man. For the time being he was dressed as a traveling merchant, carrying all of his equipment and belongings in an old looking sack that he carried on his back. He had already been told where to start by his employer, and was told only to contact said employer in a dire emergency. There was to be no evidence that this person ever had anything to do with Kazuki.
Kazuki looked up at the sky, it was about to rain. Luckily for him, he was already on his way to a local inn to sort out his plans and his equipment.
"Hello, I'd like a room please." Kazuki said to the inn keeper, his accent for the area was impecable. Unless someone knew better, they'd think he grew up locally.
"Sure sir, just for you?"
"Yes, is there any chance I can get a room in a more private area?"
"May I ask why?" The inn keeper rarely had this question asked, and it usually meant trouble.
"Well, I snore. And I really don't want to bother any of the other guests."
"Oh." The inn keeper was releaved to hear a trivial explanation.
Of course Kazuki didn't actually snore, and the room cost him a bit more, but it was pocket change compared to what he was getting. He got a room on the second floor of the inn at the end of its longest hall, usually reserved for the inn's higher class guests. The rain started to come down outside and Kazuki set his sack on the floor next to the bed. He pulled out a pen, an ink well and some paper and started jotting down the rest of what he knew about his target. Things he'd get to all in due time, but for now he was well over due for some sleep, and put his mission aside and got some rest.

Dhul's eyes flashed with anger as the girl presumed to run from him. As she ducked into a mausoleum, he walked over to the tree, and placed his hand on the bark. A red glow surrounded him for an instant before the tree was uprooted and hovering a span from his stretched out hand. It suddenly and violently smashed into the side of the mausoleum. The building shuddered with the force of the blow, and the tree began to batter it down.
Suddenly, what she had said registered to him. The amulet had been a present from her late mother. Come to think of it, the girl did seem a bit familiar. He set the tree down and walked slowly towards the mausoleum. He entered, and looked around.
"You here child?" he asked. "I may have been a bit hasty earlier. I'm...sorry." He waited for a reply.

The cautious walk towards the figure at the tree soon became a hasty run as the three of them watched as the figure whirled the tree towards a nearby mausoleum.
Edmund's heart began to beat faster yet with fear. "If whoeve that was killed the princess, then I will murder him with my own two hands!" He thought, as he ran towards the crumbling mausoleum.
His first concern was for the heir to the throne, as he reached the mausoleum the sorceror who was once assualting it with his magic was now walking towards it. He was saying something, but whatever it was he didnt bother to notice, but from what he gathered it sounded sympathetic.
Almost pushing the old man away as he entered, Edmund rushed forward with his sights only on the girl. Around him the mausoleum was not in a good state, the structure was beginning to collapse, and as it went down so too might the key to their efforts.
Ed began to look around, and shouting for the girl. "Princess! Where are you!? Please respond!" he began searching, with the hopes that he would find some trace of human presence, and that she was unharmed, but it was getting difficult with the dust and rubble everywhere, making it almost impossible to see, let alone find the girl.
"Please answer me princess!"

The rubble moved slightly as a hand moved through it up to where it could possibly be seen.. Kaylin had heard a voice she recognized from her past... a Knight? no.. it couldn't be.. all the knights that were loyal to her father were dead. The only knights now were loyal to that ass of a king, Kanroth...
The dust picked up and a small coughing noise could be barely heard.. Kaylin was feeling tired.. but that was due to blood loss.. She needed to get out of there and fast...
