Draconis took the shirt and started to slowly and gently work the shirt around Sara's arms, and just as gently again, over her head. Upon pulling the shirt down completely, Draconis kissed her forhead, and moved to her backside to present a rest for her to lay on, as her back probably still hurt. Her weight was comforting, her body warm, and as Draconis looked at her from behind, he could faintly make out her human pulse, flowing through the vein in her neck. The bloodlust in his body began to rise, his mouth started to water, he even half opened his jaw before forcing himself to tighten it shut again. He closed his eyes and composed himself, taking a long deep breath, and letting it out slowly. He wrapped his arms around her waist and used his chest to support her back. Once again though, the Lust started to grow, and he moved his head towards her neck. But instead of biting, Draconis gave her neck a soft kiss, and he looked away again, trying harder than he ever had before not to bite someone.
Normally as a vampire, werewolves blood was used as a main source of sustinance. It was easy enough to come by at the time, and no humans were harmed. One werewolf, being both human and beast, sustained a vampire like any ordinary human would. It was only when his kind started to be strategically hunted down for the few rogue vampire acts against humans that he started having to hunt for his own food, sometimes this had to be a human, but he needed to feed...
Draconis blinked and looked out as the sun reflected off of his vibrant orange eyes, almost matching the sun's hue as it began to set. They were going to have to move in a few hours, he just hoped that the course he was plotting was going to be a vacant one.

The car sped off leaving only but a short trail and smoke from the tires. The castle disappeared behind her as Eumie looked through the rear view mirror, finding it quick fulfilling that she left the forsaken building. Her eyes trailed the roads as she sped by the pedestrians all yelling at her for her fast driving. She rolled down the window and let the wind brush her hair as it violently fluttered behind her. Eumie picked up the piece of paper from before and found an address written on it.
“It looks like finding you wont be a problem, Alisa.” Eumie snarled at the thought of what she could and would do to Alisa throughout the car ride.
As Eumie started to take several sharp turns, she ended up in front of a decent looking house, quiet and unmoving. Stepping out of her car, she looked at the setting sun and then to the house. With only one leap, Eumie got up to the roof and looked through a window with curtains neatly tied to the sides of the window. She smirked at the sight and tried to open the window. To her liking, it was locked and so Eumie left a mess. She elbowed the window and let it shatter all over the floor of the room, finding the glass shattering noise satisfying. The room was neat and it seemed of a female’s but there was no body to fill the room besides herself. Eumie’s hand grew to a fist and growled at the displeasing sight. She wanted to find this Alisa and Draconis’ to take back the necklace and the blood from their necks.
Her movements were silent as she walked around, finding that the house was empty by the sound of silence. Because of this, Eumie started to dig through drawers and closets, finding nothing but clothes, notebooks, lingerie and useless objects any girl would have. Throwing items of clothes, books and pictures, Eumie finally stopped. She has a picture in her hands of Alisa.
“So you are here.” Eumie spoke to herself as she stepped outside of the room and onto the roof. She merely took a step off the roof and landed on her feet as if it was nothing. She couldn't take her eyes off the picture because of her mind racing with how much Alisa would scream for mercy. Eumie got into her car and drove a little ways off, out of sight for the people in the house but full sight for Eumie to check up this precious Alisa.

Draconis looked around, the sun finally started to hurt his eyes. He looked up as the birds flew off, and looked where they had flown off from. A small fox walked past where the birds had been, it'd had an unsuccessful attempt to catch a meal.
"Wait a second..." he whispered to himself; "that fox has green eyes..." He cursed loudly in his head, he'd forgotten that Liz could infact move about in the day as an animal, and she was there. Draconis moved from out behind Sara and picked up his sword, it was now or never, and Draconis raced to cut down the little beast, consealing the true beast within. But as he drew near, the fox spat something at him, some sort of black orb or wad of something. It hit Draconis, right in the chest, touching the amulet and his bare skin.
He stumbled back as Liz shifted into a hummingbird and flew from immediate sight. Draconis looked down, a fantastic light started to eminate from the amulet, and it started to press hard against his skin. An unimaginable pain filled his chest as the amulet sank right into his skin. He fell on all fours and gasped for air, experiencing a pain he had never imagined was possible. He rolled onto his back as the pain stopped and he looked at his chest to see what had happened. The amulet was gone, but he was still alive, so apparantly it wasn't broken, but instead it must have been absorbed by his body.
Draconis grogily stood up and grabbed his sword, oddly it was exremely heavy for him to lift; and took him to tries to pull it onto his shoulder. Liz flew by, and dug her hummingbird beak into his skin. Draconis gave a short shout and dropped the sword and grabbed his arm. He pulled it back and looked at the wound. Deep red blood began to trickle down the side of his left forarm. That's not right... Draconis thought curiously to himself. Then he realized something. "****, she did it."
Draconis grabbed his sword, and hoisted it onto his shoulder. He then ran over to Sara and placed his hand on her ankle and healed it, he then placed his hand on her back and raked it down her spine, healing all of the muscles and repairing the tissue. He looked at her with his now sandy brown eyes and helped her up. "St. Aristias will have to wait, we have to see Zewd, now."

Draconis grabbed his sword and hoisted it up once again, then he held Sara's hand tightly and pulled as he tried to run back towards Zewd's cabin. Human legs were highly inefficient, and he ran much slower than he usually was accustomed to.
"Look." Draconis began to say as he ran. "I never said anything about my magic ability because its only usable when I'm human. There's a spell that can be used against us of the Amulets, which can make our bodies absorb the amulet and increase the power of the amulet 100 fold. In my case, it turns me completely human." He dodged a brance and made sure Sara made it under it as well. "I had Zewd teach me some magic, but for some reason it doesn't work out so well with my vampiric blood. Humans are more suited for magic than vampires, believe it or not." This is why he questioned Zewd's abilities so fervently, she was extremely powerful in the magical arts, and impossibly so as a vampire. "That little lock trick I played on your window that night we met; that is probably the most useful of my vampiric magical abilities." He looked at the sun, they had a lot of ground to cover, and not much time. "As a human, I have no idea how powerful I am... this is a first for me." He stubbed his foot on a tree root and gave a short cry of pain. He didn't dare slow down, but human pain was far worse than that of a vampire.
Draconis finally slowed down out of fatigue some time later, still holding onto Sara's hand as tightly as he could. Liz would kill both of them, but she would more than likely torture Sara simply for being involved with Draconis, and Draconis would see a cold day in hell before he would let that happen. Draconis looked at the sun again... the crest had almost set over the horizon.

The sun had finally set completely, and like clockwork he started hearing what sounded like footsteps around where they were. Draconis looked around, trying to see where Liz was; it had to be her, who else would come for them that soon after dark? He found it hard to see with his human eyes. He actually felt a small twinge of pity for Sara, he had only been human for a half hour and he already hated it.
Suddenly, from nowhere, Liz tackled Draconis and landed on top of him, teeth bared, hissing violently; a look of animalistic hunger and rage on her face. She grabbed his throat with her right hand and began to squeeze, completely cutting off Draconis' air passage. He began to fight to get her off, but his muscles couldn't wrestle with Liz like they used to be able to. He was able to get his legs free and he planted them on Liz's stomach and he pushed her over his head and he rolled out on top of her, but she still had his neck tightly in her grasp. He put his knees into her gut and pulled; he was finally able to wrench his neck free, taking in a huge breath of air as he did, Liz grabbed him by his left thigh and flung him to the ground.
"I'm going to kill you!" She shouted as she picked Draconis up by his hair. Draconis felt himself wishing he had his sword in his hand, but it had fallen from his grip when he was tackled, and it now lay at Sara's feet. The cool sensual look in Liz's eyes were gone, her gaze was cold, her expression merciless, she had every intent of sending Draconis to his grave, permanently.

Turning to see all what was going on, Sara yelled out "NO!!" As she ran over. But before she could get near, her spirit wolf jumped in front of her and went straight for the female vampire. Smashing into her and making her hit the ground with a thud.
The only thing that could be heard was a loud growling, as the wolf stayed right between Liz and that of Sara and Draconis, As Sara ran to Draconis' side and tried to help him up. "Are you okay?" was all that Sara could say to him. watching the wolf with utter amazement and wonder.

Liz fell to the ground and looked at the wolf, its blazing white teeth bared, its hair standing on end, a look in its eyes that told the same thing to her that she had said to Draconis: I'll kill you. Liz knew about this type of enchantment, but she wasn't prepared for it. She had been prepared for Draconis, she made sure of that, but this new surprise was not what she was expecting.
Draconis got back up, he had also fallen to the ground after Liz let go of his hair from being hit by the wolf. Human pain was a curse to him, where vampiric pain was a reality, and it was an uncomfortable feeling, it wasn't like human pain, which could be crippling. After getting up with Sara's help, he picked up the sword again and held Sara's hand while running back toward Zewd's cabin. He couldn't be bothered to see if Liz was following him, he had a spell to deal with her, but if he was to use it, he needed more time than he had before. He let go of Sara's hand and made a fist and pulled it to his chest. very slowly, a faint yellowish light started to emanate from his closed palm. The light continued to grow until it completely engulfed his fist. He held it up as they ran to produce light, and if he needed to, he could open his palm and release the attack that he had just created.
* * *
The rest of the night went by without a hitch, and Draconis let the spell go as dawn approached. It created a huge ray of light, sunlight actually. He looked back at Sara, she was probably exhausted, as was Draconis, even though they started walking after they felt they couldn't really run anymore. Draconis looked at the sun.
"The sun is yellow?" He said with a curious tone, as if he'd never seen it before. The spell that made his vampiric skin immune to the suns effects, also dimmed its light to his eyes greatly. To him, the sun always looked red, and not too bright. He squinted and looked away, the sun was bright. He turned around fully, dropping his sword at his side and wrapped his arms around Sara. He pulled her close and hugged her. And for the first time in his life, he had no feeling of wanting to feed. He simply held on to her, simply greatful to have gotten away, and just happy that she was there. He bent his head down and whispered three little words into Sara's ear:
"I love you."

Sara was very tired after all that. She felt after a while during the run, her Spirit wolf came back. Re-entering her body. Sara was relieved that they had stopped but was caught off guard as Draconis grasped her in his arms. The words that he issued to her made her swell up in joy.. She smiled and hugged him back as tightly as she could. Moving her hands to tightly interlock.
Sara looked up to him and said. "I love you to, with all my heart." to him as she leaned up towards his face. Kissing his cheek. He was still taller than her. But she still made the effort as her arms neared his shoulders and she closed her eyes as she leaned back up. Awaiting a bit more from Draconis' Presence. Her left hand moved farther up and held the back of his head as she got ever closer. Feeling his breath upon her face.
Just then, Sara felt something warm brush up against her right leg... She paused and opened one eye then the other. As she looked down, She paused once more as a pale face was now on her face... Her lip twinged as she saw a rather fat mouse looking up at her... More silence passed as she quickly tugged on Draconis.. She couldn't speak but her wanting to get of the ground was soon apparent as the mouse then tried to go up her pant leg.. a small squeak came from Sara ass she jumped up.. Not knowing if she'd be caught.. but she was also kicking her leg up into the air.. the mouse still holding onto her for dear life....

Draconis was startled by Sara's sudden leap into his arms. He caught her with relative ease, he had prepared his now human arms for her weight. The mouse fell off of Sara's leg and hit the ground with a soft 'pat'. Apparently unharmed, the little rodent shook its head and scurried off. With the death grip Sara now had on Draconis' shirt, he decided to carry her a little ways, after tying his sword to his back.
After a ways, Draconis set Sara down, they were almost back to Zewd's cabin. Draconis saw it in the distance, but there was no characteristic smoke coming out of the chimney. Draconis didn't think anything of it at first, but then his vampiric sixth sense kicked in. He didn't know how, he was completely human, but he just got the feeling that something wasn't right.
Draconis' foot fells seemed to echo around him as he approached the door. The forest around him seemed unusually quiet. He grabbed the doorknob, something told him that if he knocked no one would answer. As soon as he walked in, he saw Mara on the floor, dead; lying in a pool of her own blood, a large piercing wound was clearly visible where her heart was.
Draconis fell to the floor on his knees next to her, he had known Mara for centuries, he couldn't believe someone would do such a thing to her. She was always so kind and selfless, and she had dedicated herself to Zewd in this time of distress. Mara wasn't a servant, she was a humble member of the Order, but she was not one of the one's with an amulet.
Tears began to well up in Draconis' eyes, as he picked up Mara's limp body and hugged it close to his. The warmth had almost completely left her. Draconis picked up something else, a heavy breathing noise coming from one of the back rooms.
Dear Dracula, please don't be Zewd, please don't be Zewd! he thought as he got up and ran to the back where the sound was coming from. The sound emanated from behind one of the doors that was slightly ajar. Draconis flung the door open, and there on the floor lay Zewd, a large gash in her neck, and a pierce wound through her lung.
"She.... forgot my heart was on the other side...." Zewd said weakly.
"Who- who did this?" Draconis said as he rushed to Zewd's side. She coughed up a little blood before weakly saying into Draconis' ear:
"Liz..."
