Default Random Roleplay #1

(Just as the name says. This will be a random rp where anything goes. Normal rules still apply though.)

As the last bandit was slain. The group of Mercenaries went around, making sure that all the fallen were in deed dead. They were happy of their work. As they congratulated their leader. But suddenly saw that they really shouldn't be celebrating at all. As their leader had already slain three of their comrades. They all yelled asking why and reading to fight. But all their leader did was kept killing. As they all fell one by one. The last was the youngest. He asked why. Why would their leader do this? and he pleaded for his life. Asking Folken to stop.

"Because your heads were also on the contract. No offense." With that the last man was killed. "Heh, Folken what have you gotten yourself into this time? At least this will be the last time." Folken said as he lifted the young man to his lips and drank the blood that gushed out. Feeling refreshed. He dropped the body and went on his way to cash in the bounty. Writing down the place where all the bodies were to be found.

When entering the village. Folken saw the fear of the townspeople, when they gazed upon him. For Folken was covered in blood. As he reached the house of the mayor, who sent the request to kill the bandits and his comrades. Folken entered and walked up to the lady of the house asking for him. When the mayor came in and had the report from the search party that had went and surveyed the battle site. He congratulated Folken and handed him his reward.

Folken got up and left. Declining the request for him to stay for the night. As Folken neared the edge of the town. He could hear a ruckus coming from behind a shed. Turning the corner he saw a man holding a young girl down. Seeing that he had his pants open and a dagger in his one hand. Folken responded in a low and powerful voice. "Let the girl go and I'll spare your life. If not I'll kill you where you stand."

The man got up and held the girl in front of him. She was utterly terrified. Folken smirked. "How cowardly. To hid behind a woman is shameful. What a waste of flesh." The man, frighted. Threw the girl to the side and went for Folken's throat. But went through a patch of mist instead.

The man stood there. Looking for Folken, but then realized that he was behind him. As the man turned. He saw Folken helping the woman and rushed towards him. "It would be advised if you leave right now Malady." Folken told her in a stern and kind voice. She nodded and ran away from the scene and back to her home.

"Heh" Folken breathed low and let his senses fully go. looking at the man in slow motion. Turning and dodging his attack effortlessly. "You gotta do better than that. If you ever want to win against someone like me." Folken said as his hood fell off from it's place. Showing his face and eyes. Fangs fully outstretched and eyes turned golden.

The man staggered backwards and tried to yell for help that a vampire was in town. But nothing left his mouth. He lay dead on Folken's blade that had gone through his throat. Folken smiled and removed the blade swiftly. grabbing him and began to drink without losing a single drop of blood. After Folken had finished his meal. He left into the woods and dumped the body. Walking off into the moonlight.

The bar that night was noisy as every other night. Useless chatter how all the men would rant on about the kills they have done or the challenges they have conquered. Their stories trying to outdo the others just to entertain themselves. Wildest of acts even sounded believable because there were times that you would cross paths with an unhuman. A person who would slaughter for their own enjoyment; A soul that has lost someone tragically and just kills to avoid their pain. Probably the easiest ways to explain an unhuman.

She sat there in the crowd dressed in a blood red vest and red pants to go along with it. Her figure being very curvy as the vest was a tad bit small revealing her waist line and cleavage to all who walked passed her. Black hair as night as the sky which cascaded down her back and a few bangs which hanged before her blue eyes as cold as crystal. She stood at the height of 5’8. A decent height for herself. White sweat bands were wrapped her wrist as it could be notice when she would drink that night. The only treasured thing on her would be the necklace which carries a past not revealed to no one.

This night didn’t please her one bit and she needed an companion if she wanted to leave safely from the village that she immediately traveled to. Her last companion was her childhood friend who was a bandit returning tonight after rampaging through another village. Already three hours late and she got a little worried. The thoughts of him encountering an unhuman was very high tonight and she kept feeling more uncomfortably the further she thought into it. It wasn’t until she slammed her hand on the table and stomped out the bar for some fresh air.

The new atmosphere around her eased her mind and senses. She was never a big fan of blood going everywhere. Her intention was to knockout the opponent or otherwise immobilize their movement. A person only had one chance to live and taking that away from someone would be the cruelest. She thought differently upon unhumans. Could they still be considered human after all the people that they have slaughtered? Her senses flicked a little bit as she noticed the faintest scent of blood sneaked passed her nose. Her eyes immediately looked into the direction where it came from.

As the blood became familiar around her as it has reeked of many bloods but also gunpowder. It was the biggest hint that this person has crossed her group and probably killed them all because it was her friends who had gunpowder for miles on end. The person she witnessed just left into the forest and she silently followed as an assassin.

Did he notice me?

She reached over her shoulder onto a thin blade withdrawing it from her sheathe and jumping before the person under the night moon and drawing the blade before her against him with no hesitation of doing so. Her piercing glare as she took the time to witness the person who smelled of gunpowder and blood and if he was going to do anything next as she was there.

“ Zaki Ruhei is my name,” she announced. “ You reek of my comrades and I have came to avenged them!”

She sprinted towards Folken.

*The smell of bacon and steak swam up from the steaming plate at the Pig and Whistle Bar. Tak Nanten smiled broadly, inhaling the scent of tastebud heaven that just awaited his plate.*

It was a noisy bar, but what bar wasn't nowadays. With talks of blood drinkers, curses and treachery around every damned corner everyone was nervous or agitated. The smell of fear to Tak was so palpable he could cut it with his knife.

"Heh...blood drinkers...." he muttered, chuckling ruefully about his own past and his half vampire self.

He fell onto his stake with abandon, tearing the bloody flanks from the bone it was attached to. Rare steak wasn't TOO much of a rare occurrence in a bar but licking the sticky pools of animal blood from the plate would be, so Tak controlled himself from doing so.

As he ate he kept his eyes on the delicious looking woman at his far left. Skin as pale as the snow, eyes that reflected the harvest moon upon a lake in all its surreal glass-like majesty. Breath-taking clothing that left little to make known she was a woman.

A warrior.

She stood back straight, clearly at ease with her movements and abilities. An inherent grace that flows up and out of her like a wellspring of sensuality. A thin blade rested lightly across her back from a scabbard showing minor ware from use. And of course the highlight for Tak, blood red clothing. He felt a slight quickening of his pulse and tampered that down. It had been a long time since he had been with a real women, and this figure in enshrouded in macabre blood was playing on his self control. He had finished his meal and was about to invite himself over to sit by her when she sprung up and walked out the door.

Tak grinned openly, any female that devilishly attractive deserved a decent chase. He paid for his meal and walked out to find her.

It didn't take him too long to notice her as she slipped away into the forest just on the outskirts of the filthy little town which he stayed for now.

"Yes my lady...... run for me, let me chase you, let this hunt for your bedside be worthwhile."

He followed, his enchanted boots not making a sound as he slipped into the trees echoing her movements perfectly. He stealthily followed her until he heard her battle cry.

“ Zaki Ruhei is my name,” she announced. “ You reek of my comrades and I have came to avenged them!”

He peaked out from behind a tree to see Folken, a vampire.

Tak sighed mightily, misunderstanding Zaki's intentions.

"Great... a beauty with a vengence for vampires..... what a waste......"

His lust stolen from him, Tak decided to rest up against a tree to watch the outcome of this intriguing battle.

Folken stood there and waited for Zaki's blow, barely dodging it in sport. He wasn't about to hurt a lady. He waited until her pass through and turned. It was all like slow motion to Folken. He merely watched her.

Folken looked at his bloody clothes and merely shrugged. Taking the time to speak. He would see if she would hear him out. He really didn't feel like feeding.. He was already full at the moment. "Full apologies M'Lady. But if you are talking about the Group of bandits that had a bounty placed upon them by the mayor of the town that stands behind you.. Then Yes I have killed them. That's what a Mercenary does." Folken paused as he looked her over. 'Not Bad...' Folken thought to himself. She was indeed a rare find in these parts.

Folken caught a glimpse of another shadow. He smirked under his cloak, knowing that the others scent was that of a vampire... it was strangely different than any other he had come up against... but it was vampiric all the same. He'd humor him as well as try to put this young girl's anger to rest. "As you can see I am alone. My comrades were also on that said contract... I had to off them as well. It's not an easy business being a mercenary..." Folken said as he moved a bit out of the moons light and into the shadows. He could easily get away using the power of the shadows and his mist form. But decided to see just how this Zaki would react to his words...

Her steps rushed across the damp earth below her shoes and slicing vertically and watching how this Folken character evaded her attack at the last second with ease. Her eyes wildly stricter then before as she took the time smell blood as it was covered around her. The vertical swipe was followed with a back flip of her body and her shoes coming a few centimeters from his face. Before landing on the ground a hidden strike was added grazing the sleeve of his shirt. It was clear enough to her that this person was an unhuman or simply enough a vampire.

"Full apologies M'Lady. But if you are talking about the Group of bandits that had a bounty placed upon them by the mayor of the town that stands behind you.. Then Yes I have killed them. That's what a Mercenary does.”

Ruhei eyes suddenly watched Folken as it took the time to glance somewhere in the depths of the tree. In the shadows she even noticed that there was another person but they will have to be taken cared of later. She removed her vest only left in a white muscle shirt that still kept her covered she flung it before her killing herself from his vision and the blade being thrown into the left hand slicing inches from above the ground and drawn upward past her clothing at him but he was already disappearing into the shadows and her vision weakened only a tad bit.

Throwing the blade into the air and stretching her right hand in the air flexing some her vest hole in which her arm is suppose to go through went over her arm and with a quick spin having the vest follow her swift movement she moved her left hand into the other hole of the vest and was once dressed appropriately again.

“ So you would even kill your friends for some money. You mercenaries sicken me.”

Extending her left hand before her and having the hilt of the blade land in her hand she immediately placed it into her sheathe and walked off before the sadness finally feels her heart. She approached a lake to release it all as she fell on her knees and dropping her arms before her and graveling her face into the dirt she fallen to her side and remained silent only thinking as her eyes would wander from the lake to the night sky.

Once again I couldn’t keep anyone alive.

Tak yawned, throughly bored with the entire fiasco. He had hoped there might be some action to be had, but alas it was not in the cards for him tonight. Sighing lustily, the last of his passion swept away like a midsummer breeze, he about-faced and started sauntering towards the tavern. Crunching the leaves and underbrush beneath his boots, making no attempts to be silent now, he re-entered the town shuffling across the dirty cobblestones back towards his room for the night.*

"Oh well," he grumbled, "at least I can drink a bit more before tucking in."

Entering the same damned noisy, smelly common room, Tak threw the tavernmaster a Gold Mark, grabbed a cask of mead from the well and calmly walked to his room.

"Ah, excuse me sir?" the tavern master asked nervously, "the girl you requested is in your room already, I sent her up just a few minutes ago."

A feral grin found Tak's face.

*Ah yes, the girl, of course how could I forget my dessert...*

His face still holding that same wide gleeming grin, Tak walked with renewed energy towards his room for a late night snack. He'd have to leave this shabby town after tonight for his actions, but oh well, mercenaries always move around leaving a trail of blood. Nobody will mind another dead one in a ****ty little tavern like this one....

Folken watched from the darkness, as the two left the area. He shrugged and looked around. "Gunpowder, huh?" Folken had found a boy who had been carrying a gun in the fight. He had run off before the rest had been slain. Folken Had found only a few good souls in the bandits that they were to kill and that young man was the only one that had gotten away. He had made sure that there had been one extra body just in case something like this happened.

"I wonder if that kid's finally gotten back? He did have a wounded leg and multiple minor wounds I gave him. I told him to wait till the examiners had left. I wonder if that same boy was a friend of that woman's?" Folken asked himself out loud. He didn't really care. He looked in all his prey's eyes to make sure they were indeed worthy of his blade. But it seldom happened.

Folken was now hungry again and decided to go look for a late night snack. Seeing a traveling consort half a mile away from where the ruckus happened. He'd spend the night telling war stories and giving out some gold for a good night's rest and company. He was wanting the pleasure of a woman for sometime now. It was good to have a little wine, women and song at times. Too bad, Folken just might over do the wine!

The remainder of the night slightly approached twilight as she laid on the ground just thinking of enjoyments she had with the misfits. They were there to fill her heart with joy and forget about the person who had abandoned her but hearing from the mercenary who had slaughtered all of them she couldn’t feel but lost only on the inside just hardly ever thinking of what she has done wrong to lead to their deaths. She thought of everyway to avoid this outcome but it wouldn’t change anything right now so to bury those hatred thoughts she had to see slayer once again.

Weakened, but she stood up from her position dusting off the dirt on her clothing and gathering her equipment her eyes slightly narrowed as she went to enter the forest following the scent of gunpowder . Her sensed flickered a little bit as she heard footsteps approaching right before her. Such bravery for a vampire to see her twice and while in the current mood that she was in. Her thoughts to hold back her strength of killing him had to be thought twice.

The young fellow stumbled out from next to the tree and right before her as he laid at her feet with a gun to her arm. Her eyes returned back to normal and quickly dropping to the ground she recognized who the person was. Mu was fine. Though badly beaten but still kept his equipment next to him just to fight to the end his eyes seen her and he drawn the weapon at her.

“ Stay back demon!” he cried.

Struck by this response from her best friend she raised both of her hands in the air and in his eyes he knew he was going to be killed and his hand on the trigger she wrapped Mu in her arms and drawn him closer to her chest keeping him close and lowering her head over his and crying some as her black hair covered her face and partially his. She returned back to normal steadily feeling that joy come back to her and him trembling in his arms.

“ Ruhei…I’m so sorry. I couldn’t-” the words only being silent from Mu lips.

“ Don’t worry about it. Lets go and get you some help.”

Time has passed and she sat next to his bed near a candle which was close to his face. Mu was wrapped warmly and the bloody clothing he had on has been removed and he was silently asleep. She pressed her hand to his forehead and smiled some before it disappeared and she stood up from her wooden chair walking to the front door and the sun slightly rising.

“ Who was that fellow in the shadows I saw during that fight?”

Note: White are for others talking. Dark red is Eumie.

The sweet scent of the blood orchid wafted into the nose of its Watcher as she walked so gracefully down the streets of the beat down town. The chitter chatter along the streets were annoying enough-- rumors of this and legends of that swarming about, their words almost visible in the thick dust of smoke. She only wished to have stayed back within the castle but that place she called home was suffocating her, killing her although she was already half dead. Her hair flowed behind her as she walked by, the slight breeze brushing her pale cheeks, giving off a hint of pink where her cheek bones lie. The passer-byes brushed her shoulders, colliding into her, leaning against her and she hissed with every contact, every touch. Her eyes darted from one place to another as she watched the bodies wonder about, as they swayed in their drunken state or their sing-song laughter surrounding them. It disgusted her, how filthy these humans were. There was a final collision of bodies with this female, Eumie and another male.

“Oh, excuse me lady.” He apologized half heartedly, bowing at her as she stopped to watch this thing act. Eumie hissed at the man but restrained from displaying her demonic k-nines from his view or anyone else’s. “Ooo! The lady might just bite!” He raised his voice quickly, slurring his words a bit. “Why don’t you just scurry on home and cook for your dear daddy.” The old man commanded, shooing away Eumie with his left hand and turning to take about his way. Eumie grew furious at the act and followed him, grabbing his shoulder and turning him quickly. “Hey! Hey! What is this about! Get your crummy hands off, street girly!”

“Oh, as you wish.” Eumie replied with a playful tone.

Her grip on the man’s shoulder grew firm and he looked at her oddly, starting to feel pain spread through his bone. His instincts told him to pull away after a while but Eumie merely gripped harder. Looking down at her hand, he watched as her nails grew in length, his eyes unbelieving and in shock. As her nails dug into his shoulder the man pulled away causing Eumie to rip his sleeve off and revealing what she could do. His shoulder was the color of purple and black against his pale colored skin, spreading slowly towards his neck and chest.

“Old man, you should know when to hold your tongue.” Eumie advised as she picked him up by the collar and threw him against a building, causing commotion. Commoners and street walkers all stopped to watch the ruckus and pointed. Some laughed at the old man and some fearing the woman, fearing who she could be. The old man tried to stand from his condition but only fallen in his attempt as Eumie walked up to him, grabbing his collar again, helping him up off the ground to face her. Eumie’s grin grew as with this, her demonic fangs were out on display for the man only. He squirmed in her grip and started to kick the wall behind him in fear for his life.

“HEY! Go someplace else if you want to start a brawl” Another man yelled from the door of the building. Apparently he was one of the workers, if not the owner of the place. “Scums causing trouble…” The man mumbled as he walked back in to go back to work.

“You’re lucky, old man.” Eumie hissed and let out a snap of her teeth to make the man flinch. She threw him to the crowd as they started to disperse from the action ending without anything interesting.

Eumie then looked up at the building sign which indicated that it was a tavern. She walked in and as she opened the door the sudden brush of smoke and hot air hit her face. A mere ‘Hmph’ escaped her lips as she walked in and took a seat at a small table. She looked around, the poorly lighted place gave her eyes some rest and her vision became so much sharper. She watched the men drinking and talking, smoking and laughing which she grunted at. Her interests in humans were of little and took on to another item which was the tavern itself. It was small, cozy suppose and had one flight of steps which most likely let up to the rooms. It was just a few yards in front of her table and the bar was to her left. There was a tap on her shoulder and when she looked up, it was a waitress who dressed in a skimpy outfit for the men.

“What can I getcha?” She asked as she chewed her gum in a repulsive manner.

“Whatever is good here.” Eumie replied with a low tone, just enough for the girl to hear.

“Com’n right up!” She answered, walking away to the bar and retrieving her order. Eumie sat at rest, watching, waiting for something to happen.

Folken woke up and looked over at the three young ladies sleeping with him. He smiled a toothy grin and didn't move. He was happy and felt quite satisfied with the previous nights en devours.

He was seeing double and knew he was correct. He did in fact have too much wine.. but more so, got a few good pints off of the nice ladies sleeping beside him. He never did bite them. Just got them drunk and then cut each of their palms and suckled on their blood. It was an interesting thing to behold. The girls wouldn't remember a thing. the cuts weren't deep enough to be of any consequence. They'd only be numb for about a day.

Laying back down. Folken looked over at all his clothes and then to the tent canopy. It would start to become very bright out. He'd need to get his special sub armor on before then. He didn't care much for a tan let alone a good ash turning. His skin would turn to ashes if he was directly under the midday sun without his armor. He was even starting to feel weak because of it.

removing himself from the beautiful display of ladies. Folken got dressed and walked out of the tent. Only a few of the Travelers were out and about. They were getting ready to leave in a few hours.

Folken walked up to the head gypsy and handed a small pouch of gold. She thanked him and asked if he wanted his fortune told. Folken declined. But asked if he could have their symbol of recognition. It'd help out in tight spots. Seeing as though the way he was going, alot of gypsy caravans went through and it couldn't hurt to make a few stops now and then. Plus save the fact that he'd have to fight to stave off robbers in the territories of some gypsies.

The woman gladly replied and gave a small coral earring and a sapphire, amethyst and ruby braided cloth clip that Folken quickly put in his ear and clipped the braid to a side of his hood. It was visible and did give his dark cloak some color. the beads glowing in the now obvious sunlight.

As he turned, Folken felt a tug on his pant leg. A young boy was pulling it and looked at his gauntlet. Folken shook his head and showed that it was in fact a weapon not a cool looking piece of armor. the kid looked wide eyed and went scurrying back to the Head Gypsy and made somewhat of a fuss. Making the gypsy laugh and pat the boy on the head. Waving good bye as Folken started out and back into the forest. He'd start his way towards the next village. But would get some provisions from the town he had left the day before. It was a simple trek. He'd get back into town within about an hour at most. Gathering what he needed and then was back off towards where he had been only about an hour ago but slightly to the east. He would go to the town of Hayward and hopefully find what he was after.

Tak groggily opened his eyes, the sunlight streaming in thru the dusty shades igniting the particles of dust that hovered steadily in his room seeming to be a kind of floating fire in his bleary eyes. He stretched out long feeling the pull on his tightly corded muscles and was slightly shocked to feel something bump against his leg. He quickly rolled of the bed sending the sheets flying over his naked body in the fashion of a gigantic cape streaming out behind him so fluid and quick was the movement. He drew his sword from the scabbard right next to his bed and prepared to thrust it forward, until he caught what it was exactly that hit his leg.

The whore lay still, he body drained of blood but not enough to make it look as if she had been drunk dry. He smiled slightly at the remembrance of sweet, young blood dripping down his throat.

"Ah... I gotta get the hell outta here now...." he muttered to himself.

He quickly gathered his gear and clothes, and moved downstairs into the common room. He thew a bag of gold at the innkeeper and without a word, moved on into the streets outside. Breathing the fresh air outside, slightly befouled by the inn behind him. Remembering the chaos behind him upstairs he smiled slightly and moved on at a jaunty pace down the cobblestone road towards another town, to hopefully some sort of adventure that would break his perpetual boredom.
