Artois was unsure by what the pirates plan was but it did not bother him. He would battle his way through the sea if he had to, stopping this world from being unified under one man was something he would die for.
Democracy and ideology was one thing, but for the world to be manipulated into choosing a world unity under one man, a dictator with a serious head issue was not something he would allow. Anei was a key to halting this and Artois was the hand releasing the lock with Anei as the key, the lock being the door to freedom.
Artois standing up and nodding in approval to the mans request, headed towards the door and decided he would check on Anei. Walking across the deck again and ignoring the whispers of insults from the crew he opened the door this time with less force then he had previously. Peering in the room he found the bed deserted and in a reflex action ran across the decks back to Elcid.
“Either give me a reason to where she is or ill execute you here. I hope that we can come to some understanding and you will tell me where she is.”

Elcid could only sigh. He knew what he should be doing which was to grab this pompous blow hard and hurl him off the ship but he was still injured from the scrap in the bar and the insuing brawl and didn't really feel like agrivating the wounds.
'Look, all this running around and shouting death threats ain't gonna do you any good on my ship. I thought we'd had this discussion already. Repeat after me, 'Elcid, I can't find Anei, have you seen her?' not, 'I'm going to bloody kill you'. There's a whole bloody ship load a difference between those two, whatchacallem, phrases. Now you saw me leave Anei in my quarters yourself, if she's not there now, I haven't had a thing to do with it. She's got a mind of her bloody own, so she does.'
Elcid said all of this as casually as he could, being as he was angry enough to tear Artois' head clear off his shoulders and as he said it he walked towards his cabin and pushed open the door to see for himself that Anei wasn't there.
'Blimey she really did bugger off.' Elcid read the note over, his lips moving to make the words as he did so. He wasn't a quick reader. He passed the note to Artois as an explination. 'See that? Don't you go bloody accusing me of every damn. How the hell did you survive as a soldier or a sailor if you can't use your own two bloody eyes?! She must have shimmied down out the back windows or the man at the plank would have come and told me she was going out, unless... Those things on her back, are they just for show or can she use 'em?'
Elcid's eyes went to the mainmast crow's nest, the highest point on the ship.
'If they ain't just for show, then we'll just have to hope she know's what she's doing. She might have told us a bit more in her note though.'

"The word rustic doesn’t even begin to satisfy the requirements of an adjective used to describe this town. Rustic is a looming butressed cathedral to this town’s Stone Henge. Rustic is the ocean to this town’s mud puddle. Simply put, rustic is a word inadequate to describe the squalour."

Anei had finally gotten to the temple. But it seemed it was an utter war zone. She couldn't believe how much bloodshed she saw.. People were literally falling out of the windows in droves as the two opposing factions were waging war on each other. She felt sad. But knew that she was the only one that could truly stop it.
Flapping her wings to move higher, as a light nearly exposed her, Anei looked to find that certain ledge. After circling the temple a few times, Anei found the ledge in her vision. She landed as best as she could and picked the vial up. Replacing it with the fake and was about to fly off when a bullet hit her in the shoulder. She nearly cried out as she came into eye contact with a gunner. It was of the Ares army and she knew that he wasn't about to let her fly off... Good thing he couldn't see her all that well. But a call for a light was all she needed to be found out.
Anei feel off of the ledge and flapped her wings as hard as she could. Feeling the wind from multiple gun shots, as she finally caught a wind and was flying away. Her Shoulder bleeding profusely as she covered it. She couldn't keep the altitude and she knew she was going to be hunted down now for whatever she had. That gunner wasn't an idiot. He had seen that she could fly and had been wearing gold and white clothes.. that now the shoulder was stained with blood. She wouldn't be hard to miss on the ground.. But he never knew that Anei was in fact a master illusionist.. but the gunshot and blood would be hard to mask due to the smell it gave off...
After a good half mile or five minutes of flight, Anei started to loose altitude and finally landed, hard sadly, as she began to run. She needed to hide and hide fast... But where? Anei had never been to this city and didn't know any hiding spots... She was in a bind and knew for a fact that time was not on her side.. 'I sure wish I had left a bit more information...' Anei thought as she ran through the darkened streets. Turning away and using whatever fleeting powers she had as she kept loosing blood. She couldn't leave a trail of her scent right to the ship... She needed to get somewhere and clean off the blood and tie up her wound... It was painful. She honestly never knew that they'd have gunners hiding in the upper wings...
Anei kept running and finally found a small crevice in a wall and slipped in. She could hear men in armor running around. Screaming that they had to find her... she knew that she was in danger and wished that she had her 'Fathers' or Artoise and Elcid there now... But she knew that Elcid was still hurt... and she really didn't want Artoise to confront his own people just yet.. It would be a hard thing for him. Or so she thought... She really didn't know either as much as she liked yet. She just hoped she would be able to return to the ship before the sun rised in the East...
