That's a tough question. I'm going with either: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IV, or Final Fantasy IX but i'd say my favorite one out of those three is VII. It's hard to decide because all of them are so good!

I vote for FF6 because it had a lot of nice tunes ranging from sorrow, violence, love and action and each character had a themed music. Also, the last boss music from bottom to top (those that beat FF6 know what I mean) is absolutely stunning.

I personally enjoyed FFIX's soundtrack. The music was all very enchanting and relaxing. I especially liked Garnets theme and Beatrix's themes.

The FFVII soundtrack is by far my favourite.
Soo many classics all one one (four ) disks. It's the one I listen to most often still. And with songs like Aeriths theme, Noble warrior I can't blame me, can you? :P

I have to say Final Fantasy VIII Soundtrack is the best, the build up of the opening song, the epic battle music like Landing and the tearful heart warmers like Fragments of Memories or Eyes on Me.

VI has my favorite music. I just love tracks such as Terra's theme, the Opera song, Edgar and Sabin's theme, searching for Friends, Cyan's theme and so many more. I really want to buy this soundtrack when I have more money.

VII would be my second favorite soundtrack. I actually own that one. My boyfriend bought it for me as a present and it was quite expensive.

Yet another tough choice. I had to go with VII though. I like way too many songs from that game. To Zanarkand from X is also a favorite of mine, but I think I only like a few songs from X compared to VII. IX is also fantastic! Bittersweet Romance is one of my favorites. VIII's Fragment Memories is good too. But in the end, VII wins because there's way too many songs that I like, such as Aerith's Theme.

Then of course, FFIX follows it quite nicely. I am torn apart because I love my Beatrix song, as well as some of FF9’s melodies. Damn Nobou, he is just a frikkin mastermind that’s all I can say xD

I also really like the way the songs in FFVII are put together. They all just seem so calm and.................mystical.

I'm going to have to go with FFVIII. It just has more calm and soothing songs that, no matter how hyper I am, always manages to calm me down and just relax. FFIX I would have to say has a few good ones too that I just listen to and hum and just forget all about everything. FF music is like.... taking a hot bath after a stressful day. Mmmmmmm. ^^
