Default Favouite vocal FF song?

What's your favourite vocal FF song? Mine is Eyes on Me. I could not stop listening to this once I heard it in FFVIII, Faye wong really made it special.

And after recently hearing 1000 words again, I have to say this song was pretty cool too. To me it sounded like Celine Dion a bit (thats just me :P) and thats a compliment

I've also included a poll and I havn't actually finished FFXII so forgive me for not putting that in it (assuming it has a vocal song in it) but if it does can someone please add it

Melodies of life - FFIX
I love this song for some reason, it isn't anything like anything that I would normally listen to, but I love it all the same

Suteki Da Ne is the best vocal for an FF game to me. It's soft and just great for when you need to relax or if you're depressed.

Suteki da ne is good, but I find the singers voice is far too squeaky for my tastes.

All of them is very good (mabye not the ones in FFX-2, at least not the first one) but the best one must be....either Melodies of Life or Eyes on me. But I like the song in FFVI..mabye you could not call that a vocal song. But it is good.

i think all of them are good songs.. all are pretty full of meaning and have well penned lyrics..

Kiss Me Goodbye actually touched me the most..
followed by Melodies of Life, and then 1000 Words

Eyes on Me because it had a touching cinematic to go with it. Melodies of Life though is runner up and only because Square was too lazy to make some FMVS for the ending. Nevertheless it's a touching song.

1000 Words was a beautiful song set in a mediocre game unfortunately. I still like it though. Kiss Me Good-Bye would touch me more if I saw more of the relationship between Ashe and Rasler. So basically Eyes on Me gets the cake.

FFIX had the best soundtrack of the PlayStation era, so naturally Melodies of Life is the best vocal FF track.

I liked Eyes on Me most. They all were good, but Eyes on Me was sung better, in my honest opinion. Melodies of Life really was a great song, but I thought Eyes on Me fit better with situation it was going with. FFIX did have the best soundtrack though.

My favorite soundtrack was FFX soundtrack. Just 'cause it appealed to me the most. My favorite vocal FF song was Suteki De Na (on FFX soundtrack).

Kiss Me Good-Bye, originally my favorite was Eyes on Me (which was continually sadly ruined by an unnamed person who continually sang "I lost my poor meatball" along with it). Followed by 1000 no Kotoba/1000 Words, Sudeki da Ne/Isn't it Wonderful?, Summer's Album/Eyes on Me and Melodies of Life.

Are my favorite vocal songs, but I also have favorites from the Final Fantasy Vocal Collections.

But really, the Aria di Mezzo Carattere from FFVI beats them all.

Dude, there are like no words in that, thus failing it in the 'vocal' department. That is unless you are talking about the Grand Finale version, but still that doesn't count.

It does have words to it! Even during the game, even if there wasn't any actual singing, you still had words/music. That song is l33t.

Anywho, my favorite song to sing is Eyes on Me, so that got my vote. Not to mention, it was the first time a video game made me cry.

Next would be Suteki Da Ne, because again, so horribly, horribly sad...

The best performance of the FFVI Aria is the full performance of the entire opera they did at that one video game concert. The whole thing runs on for like twenty minutes; it is great justice incarnate. Just, too bad the whole thing's in Japanese rather than Italian.

I picked 'Melodies of Life', it still makes me feel all warm and squishy inside ^o^ I love 'Real Emotion' & '1000 Words though' ^^

Suteki Da Ne....I dunno. The music is pretty but I don't like the vocals >_o And I found 'Eyes on Me' boring. I liked Angela Aki's version of it much better than Faye's.

I attended said video game concert: PLAY!

T'was awesumness, yes.

My favorite would be a tie between OneWinged Angel and Aria. Both are lovely and etheral though my fondness for Sephiroth might make the former ek out past the latter. xD
